Killing Floor v8 - Come Out, Come Out Little Pigs!

When I play Masterson or Briar and use melee weapons, I occasionally hear Donovan Neal's voice.
Like, all of a sudden they'll say "KNOCK 'EM DOWN!"
Somebody said it happens when you enter the cave on the Black Forest map.
We were on Catacombs, which is exclusively caves
So of course since we ran through the whole place, there were a lot of triggers for him to talk about it (He only seems to have a few lines about caves, one of them being Caveman zeds and then the Batman thing)
Do other characters have something similar to that? I know Ana will make a remark when you walk into a really bloody area, but I think that's it.
I know quite a few characters comment on the snow in Outpost.

I love Reverend Alberts' comments about Outpost
"Nice little bits for the post cards, SNOW"

"At least if we run out of ammo we'll have snowballs"
Honestly playing the game Solo is so much fun. You actually do an impact and Fleshpounds aren't made out of titanium cockrods, they're tough but they can be taken down reasonably with the highest grade weapons.
I don't understand what's with every dev taking the easy way out in difficulty by just tuning numbers the fuck up. They get unique animations the harder you get and pull off cooler moves, and that's exactly how you add additional difficulty, but on top of that they now deal 500% more damage and have 2000% more health and also a 1% chance to destroy your PC. It's dumb.
Just having all of them sprint at you on the higher difficulties is a pretty big buff for them in and of itself.
"Before Schtalingrad... I used to love the schnow... ;_;"
What is it with people in this game and wanting to split up? It always causes team wipes because the giant Zeds wipe us out one by one and the Medic is only able to be with one group at a time, often times just with 1 other person.

Yeah. It's a lot harder to hit them. I can understand buffing up their health, damage and such but wow, they kinda overdo it a little bit.
It's too high to the point where it feels like you, as a player, regardless of how leveled you are, don't do as much of an impact as the game implies you should. It's in the little things, like the sprinting animations implying you're hauling ass but it's more of a light jog unless you're a Medic or a Zerker.
I love the little comments the characters make on how the maps look.

Lack of communication. Hardly anyone uses the voice chat for some reason.
I've never really had problems with splitting up. One or two people tend to head towards the usual spots on the map and everyone tends to follow them.
A few times I've had it happen, people just spread out everywhere. But it happens alot less than the team staying together.
Right now my major problem is how like 80% of matches I enter have no medic.
the only time people seem to split up is when a fleshpound or four attacks
the only time people seem to split up is when a fleshpound or four attacks
Empty enough bullets into an enemy's face without it so much as getting scratched and running away starts to seem like a good idea.
I'm all for fleshies and scrakes being hard to handle, but watching them just stomp around in the middle of the team like they aren't even getting shot wears out its welcome after a while.
The only time I've seen teams split up is in early game where everyone's trying to hoard kills for dosh.
Above around Wave 5, pubs would usually go to the usual camping spot i.e parked trucks on Outpost/jelly processing room in Biotics.
So I tried the game during the free weekend. Is it me or playing solo is WAY easier than it is in KF1? There were a number of times were I was sure I was supposed to die but I soaked damage like a bullet sponge. Especially against the bosses, the patriarch in kf1 could kill you in 5 seconds with his minigun but in this game I watched as my health drained slowly. What gives?
My favorite way to play was actually solo with a couple of bots in KF1. I'd have a little bit of backup but things wouldn't get too frantic, and all they'd do is follow me around and draw attention; which is all I really needed them to do anyway.

That's because of some zeds doing less damage in solo games than if you had even one extra player in the team on KF2.

I was playing few minutes ago, and someone got hit by a crawler then just started slowly rising into the sky.

Godspeed Astronaut Foster.
Had this happen with a fleshpound as the last zed before, it and a crawler just started slowly floating away, the whole lobby collectively had a giggle
i had this happen with a player when we were fighting patty.
patty got so confused he didn't know what to do and just stood still
we finished him quickly
Lack of communication. Hardly anyone uses the voice chat for some reason.
I've only tried the game on the free weekend, but I'd say the bigger problem is the lack of voice commands.
I mean, you can't even thank your teammates in KF2 anymore and the automatic response when you heal someone just doesn't feel as good as when a player thanks you on their own.
And "Request Help" and "Request Healing" is never going to sound as good as simply "Help!" and "Medic!" to me.
Also, on note of that, there's way to much automatic banter in my opinion, it just feels so artificial. The "No business like snow business" line got old after the 5th time it was said.
So, decided to use a key, and the unlock animation has gone on for so long that the audio loop expired. It's been 5 minutes. Looks like I lost a key then!
Edit: Rebooted the game, got AR15 Varmit | Cyberbone | Mint
Can someone explain Shoot'n'Scoot for me? What exactly do they refer as "head bob", recoil or just camera shaking when moving?
Anybody?
Anyways, I got my first drop- a mint condition woodlands camo SCAR rifle. Looks kinda unfitting.

The head bob is how much your weapon will move while you aim down sight. Just makes it a little easier to aim while moving.

Does it come with an orange nub on the tip of the gun to finish off that "toy gun" look?

That looks so awful, it looks more like babby's first texture mod than anything else.

dunno if its my settings, but kinda looks decent imo
It's because that camo would actually work as a camo. The SCAR one is way too bright.
