I actually like the burst AK more than the SCAR for popping scrake heads in a jiffy.
Any strats for kiting/dodging a Fleshpound when your on suicidal and the rest of your team is dead?

lay down flower pedals on your bed and light some candles, flesh pounds are a sucker for romance. play some soft music and break out your best bottle of wine, make it feel special. when it's on it's back, presenting itself, seize the opportunity while its guard is down and slit its jugular

Kill it before that happens.

Ask it politely to stop
Can somebody clarify something about the Rack 'Em Up skill? I'm getting conflicting information saying that contrary to the description, each head shot only raises the damage by 5% each time, and not 10%. Maybe the ones saying 5% are outdated, I'm not sure. But which is it?

It's 10% per headshot.
Friend of mine on steam told me to never buy any ammo, because of ammo drops and it is a waste of money spending even a little bit. :what:

Actually curious on if he's actually on about something, but I doubt he is correct.
You don't need to buy ammo for the first few waves. Knife the first two rounds, maybe use the 9mm if you're in slight trouble, then buy a tier 3 or 4 weapon on wave 4. After that you might as well buy ammo because you should have enough money for it and ammo boxes can be pretty rare on harder difficulties.

If anything ammo drops feel more scarce to me than in KF1. I'd never rely on them. Just prioritize what guns you fill instead of doing auto-refill.

depends on both difficulty and class. most classes can get by with little to no ammo bought in early waves, simply because of the power of the base knife/9mm against trash zeds. (especially commando and firebug, simply because of the amount refilled by a single box, simply saving your primary ammo for bloats/gorefasts) buttt it really only works in normal and hard, perhaps suicidal if you wanna risk it, but by that point its worth stocking up on a little bit of ammo. spending 10-50 dosh on a few clipizines won't hurt the bank at all. obviously in HOE you're gonna want ammo pouring out of your ass because of how much you'll need. however I just end up buying ammo anyways because you don't need armor/grenade refills, so you can just buy ammo for your primary til you can get your T4 weapon, and unload on zeds without a care.
Why can microwaves kill Patty in under 30sec, who thought this was good idea.

That makes my mouth feel gross.
Does it only happen when you Build All or does it also happen when you build things individually?
I would say try verifying the cache if you haven't already.
Went through and tried everything separately, it's building the lighting which is crashing it.
Verified the cache, nothing wrong.
Commando can do quite well in the first two waves by just using their Pistol in combo with the Tier 1 skill "Backup". Even on the higher difficulties you can reliably one shot most trash with the pistol, and so long as your conservative with your ammo I can get away with only buying a single magazine between waves 1 and 2.
That also leaves you free to waste your AR-15 whenever you need as your going to be ditching that for a SCAR if your fortunate to get enough dosh for it, or the AK12.

The Patriarch update added a bug that causes the editor to crash when building lighting. There is a temporary fix: http://forums.tripwireinteractive.com/showthread.php?t=114563

and here we go
Kept jew vaiting ja?
I hope we get a military issue AR-15 or M4 variant at some point. The little varmint civilian thing was nice and I'm thinking a fully fledged one would be even nicer.
I don't even like the Varmint Rifle one, something about the magazine and mag well not matching up at all just annoys me a bit.

You wouldn't have that issue if you had an actual 5.56 model!! That's why I'm thinking about one. It'd look nice to see an M4A1 in action in KF2.

Or they could have just made it have a fitting magwell like this one:

Or just chosen a different weapon like one of these:

I've been using it more since I got the War skin for it. Something about the blue and white UN skin makes me feel like a genuine mercenary, like the UN is that desperate to stop the zeds that they hire anyone and outfit them with guns.
And the gun itself isn't that bad. I use it a fair bit into the matches.

I still use it, I'm just not fond of the magazine not matching the magazine well. It looks strange, like a car with tiny wheels.
