Killing Floor v8 - Come Out, Come Out Little Pigs!

Anyone else think those pulsating flesh bulbs in Black Forest might have something to do with the supposedly upcoming Matriarch? Curious that we don't see them anywhere else, not even Biolab.
God forbid people play the game the way they want to.
Yeah, god forbid that people cheat.
I stopped bothering about leveling after getting Medic to lvl25.
Most perks are garbage and your heal gives you a little to no exp.
And I'm not talking about Demo which is literally a pain to level.
For me like in KF1, perk leveling seems a part of the game. Once you are all up, only remains to beat the maps on the harder difficulties, and is a bit boring honestly.
Is worse right now on KF2, as I know a lot of friends that grinded until reach LV25 for test stuff, thinking it would be wiped on each update. Since the perks aren't reset, they only play it to check the new changes, and nothing more. They feel they have burned out the game.
If people want to play the game they paid for, why should they be locked out of content because of an arbitrary level system?
This is the mentality that ruined World of Warcraft.
Hoo boy I can't wait for XP Boosts to come out and see the community reaction.
Hans weapon is pretty awesome, but he died very quick for me

Two completely different games. In an MMO I am invested in the long term progression of my character as he goes from a nobody to a mighty warrior dual wielding axes taken from the grip of the ded Fel Lord Dragonax. In Killing Floor 2 I load up a game and shoot bots for 30 minutes with my friends. I thought KF1 was grindy and KF2, while way better, still a little too grindy for the type of game it is. And it's not the only game like that. I think too many shooters have become inundated with progression loops that are either too exhaustive or just not really necessary.
I didn't boost my way through Killing Floor 1 and won't in KF2 but I don't judge people who don't want to grind in their coop shooter. If someones bad at the game they are bad regardless of how much shotgun damage they do.
Using an MMO as a defense is kind of silly lol.
MMOs sell their bullshit content to cost ratio by distracting you with how much time they waste.

mmo scam system of grinding
I actually agree with your post overall but these two statements took be back a little bit. First, isn't the point of most games to waste time? If I play 80 hours of WoW and 80 hours of Killing Floor 2, I achieved the same general level of productivity. Secondly, a scam? I thought all my hours spent playing WoW or GW2 were because I was having fun. Damn those clever MMO developers for scamming me into...having fun for a couple hours a day?
Games are to give you entertainment for long periods of time
80 hours of monotonous bullshit to get you to "the real game" is almost every MMO
By scam he's likely referring that blizz offers a $50 instant bump to the cap
KF2 could benefit from a nominal permanent XP boost for every class you hit Level 25 with. Gives people a reason to specialize.
So out of nowhere, a buddy of mine decided to give me his Cyberbone USB crate. I decided to open it for the hell of it, and I get this (Which supposedly costs $35-45, $2.50 well spent I guess.):

...Merry Xmas to me.
Jealouuuus
Would sell in an instant though

I'd be happy if Level 25 XP was evenly distributed to your other classes. Playing on Level 25 feels like a waste until your get your other desired classes to Level 25 as well.

I would, but then the 7-days trade restrictions... Valve has taunt me so.

I really want the gold shotgun. I like shotguns.
I'm not sure if I should trade my healing pistol for it though. Someone apparently paid alot of money for one and as much as I am not that interested in keeping stuff I don't really want I don't want to go around throwing money away.
So what are the best reads to learn to get good without playing? I usually like to read some guides so I dont jump in and try to learn from experience cuz some shit isn't noticable that way and you bring down the team.
I've been playing for a long while but big zeds on harder diffs and the patriarch are still mysteries to me and I'm always looking to learn something new

Learned a lot from that first guide. Thanks for posting this man.
I've learned that since Fleshpounds are vulnerable to explosives, using your grenades against them instead of first shooting them cuts down on their lifetime massively
Demolitions' perk of Dynamite exploding on contact really helps that
I noticed something when i used my camo skin on the scar....the bullets in the gun and the mag are not textured

I've been carrying a Pulverizer exclusiely for Fleshpounds and the Zwei for everything else, because it seems like when I don't do a bunch of damage by alt-swinging the Pulv at the fleshpound's head that we get wiped, and when I do they die within 3-4 swings.
Is the explosive resistance perk only for explosive damage? The description only says it gives 30% damage resistance.

Only for explosive damage.

Only guide Firebug needs:
1. Spray flames at all the Zeds except mini-bosses.
2. Use OP Explosive Shotgun to blow up clusters.
3. Stop enraging every Scrake and Fleshpound at once ffs!

As a Firebug main, I cannot stress how important ammo conservation is. On Suicidal and HoE, you will run out of ammo if you don't think before you shoot.
My personal setup is Flamethrower+Trenchgun; Flamethrower for trash, Trenchgun for bigger Zeds or clusters. You can't rely on the RNG of the level 15 perk for exploding Zeds, so lining up you shots is very important in my opinion. Hitting as many Zeds as possible and letting the afterburn take care of the smaller Zeds. Also, do not underestimate the power of a shove to the head of Zeds. In most cases, if aimed and placed correctly, it can decapitate smaller Zeds in one hit.
I only bring out the Microwave gun if the rest of the team are having a hard time taking out Scrakes or Fleshpounds, but it eats ammo way too quickly and I've concluded it as being inefficient in its current state.
God, auto rage is the worst thing. Scrakes are no prob since they only do it at the end of the wave, but fucking Fleshpounds man
Demo's have the worst time when Scrakes or Fleshpounds rage
They'll constantly be in your face, making you unable to shoot rockets for proper damage

With Scrakes it's not as bad since they're really weak to impact damage and On Perk can knock them down but Fleshies mean death. Especially since a demo gets no speed bonus and low health slows you down.
I love how using RPG, C4 and Dual 9mm's as Demo loadout works miles better than using the Grenade pistol
That's how shite it is
[editline]22nd December 2015[/editline]
You even get Demo experience from 9mm's
