Fuck that, red suit with PC Gamer mask is the best.
Fuck that, red suit with PC Gamer mask is the best.
Personally i use vice since i am a sucker for white suits I also made a slight first-person edit of it for personal preference
snip yee boyo

They sure do snip And i love them [editline]2nd January 2016[/editline] Got ninja'd BUT I'M USING THE ACTUAL CLASSIC SKIN SO HA
Thanks, lads. Dosh for both of you.
Fire up KF2 for the first time in weeks. Join a suicidal game. People actually being cooperative. Wowza. Medics healing, berserkers being tanks, I'm in shock. Get to ten, the bullshit 5-fleshpounds-at-once kills us pretty quickly. Got my first box. Neato. Have about 2.66 on my steam wallet from selling cards for months, why not open it. Unboxed a battlescarred Heat for the hunting shotgun. Sells for around 20$. Aaaaaaa

I tried Suicidal yesterday, there were only "Short" servers, dual Scrakes and a Fleshpound on Wave 4 is too much. Especially since the lower income means you're still on T1 maybe T2 weapons.
I did get an undeserved achievement for beating Suicidal because I joined on just before Boss round in a game with an aimbotter. Who bots in coop games? Why? [editline]2nd January 2016[/editline] He wasn't "just good" either, he had nearly 500 kills and 90% of them were headshots. Nobody's that good. Also, you could see him snapping around during spectator before we spawned it.
Maybe he gets a strange sense of satisfaction from it?
Maybe he was using controller.

So, I just picked this up on the steam sale because I've been eyeing it for a while. I played a couple rounds when it was on F2P weekend, but really didn't spend too much time with it. Tips for a newb? Best perk/role to spec for a starter? Etc.
yea just pick which ever class has your favorite weapons [editline]3rd January 2016[/editline] they're all pretty homogeneous at level 0, and by the time you've racked up enough levels to differentiate, you'll probably be decent enough to play any class
they're all pretty homogeneous at level 0, and by the time you've racked up enough levels to differentiate, you'll probably be decent enough to play any class
unsure if people have figured out a better tactic but im pretty sure earlier on it was technically better to go as a high level medic and use the aa12 as you can survive way longer and the support bonus damage wasn't that high. Only like 20% at higher levels. [editline]4th January 2016[/editline]
That's literally the whole issue with KF2. it's inconsistent. Kf1 everything made sense. if you were good and the last one alive you could make it to the next round - it just took a little finesse. Now you're lucky if you can kill off one of the remaining enemies because fuck you I'm going to autorage for absolutely no reason, also my attacks are inconsistent and unpredictable. Also you have no way to counter it hahahahahaha
A side effect from all these extra features such as how weapon aiming now works, improved hitboxes and new attacks/animations. That's why the messed up hitboxes in KF1 weren't a problem. It was predictable if you understood how it worked.
Is it me, or are sirens among the most annoying things to shoot in the head? There is something about the way their hit detection works that feels off. Whenever I'm using .45's to two-shot them as Gunslinger, for some reason my second shot almost half the time hits that fucking neck part that sparks when hit even though I'm aiming right at their damn head. I figured it would be a weakness if it sparks like that, but if it is, it doesn't do enough to kill them on that last shot.

That's what you are hitting
Either head or bullet hitboxes are huge, I can shoot right over a zed's head and it'll still count as a headshot :v:
I dunno, I can usually pop headshots pretty well on other zeds, but I always fuck up with sirens. Her head is so small and wiggles around a lot and I barely get any visual feedback if I'm headshotting her other than that different crunch sound for headshots. With other zeds their heads are mostly clean so you can see them get slowly destroyed, but the siren's face is so visually noisy and you can't really tell if you've ripped her scalp off unless you're up close and you kinda want to avoid that. I have a similar problem with husks, you can't quite tell at a distance what their head looks like.
The siren has no right to have the head and body HP effectively identical to husks with that frail body.
The siren has no right to have the head and body HP effectively identical to husks with that frail body.
Metal bits tho. It's also got all the screamy tech in the head/throat, so kinda makes sense.
The siren has no right to have the head and body HP effectively identical to husks with that frail body.
But that's what makes her a threat. It seems a lot of people think most of the enemies should be pushovers.
But that's what makes her a threat. It seems a lot of people think most of the enemies should be pushovers.
I thought the thing that made sirens a threat was that they do large amounts of area damage and turn explosives into duds, not their gigantic health pool.
I thought the thing that made sirens a threat was that they do large amounts of area damage and turn explosives into duds, not their gigantic health pool.
Well unless you make her a glass cannon like in KF1 where her screams would 1-2 shot you, reducing her health would just make her a joke.
Well unless you make her a glass cannon like in KF1 where her screams would 1-2 shot you, reducing her health would just make her a joke.
Fine with that. Support can't even kill a Siren with one shot unless it's at point blank.
I love when I headshot a siren with the magnum only for her to get knocked down and scream on the floor instead. I swear the gunslinger update increased their spawn rate or something.
Sirens aren't as butt-fuck annoying as they were in KF1 though.
I love when I headshot a siren with the magnum only for her to get knocked down and scream on the floor instead. Also here's some neat info for gunslingers. Headshots to kill zeds on 6P HoE using Bone Breaker and Rack em' Up. [t]http://i.imgur.com/mN5pFnk.png[/t] [t]http://i.imgur.com/0xACViK.png[/t] This one is Rack em' Up with the full 70% dmg bonus active.
