They never fixed that. I'm pretty sure someone somewhere said that the reason for point-blank shots not hitting was cause the zeds pushed your weapon against you.
For this reason, stalkers can be annoying as fuck because they are always in your face, and I cant tell if they are too short and Im barely missing them or if the bullets are flying through them, I literally have to treat them like crawlers.
or Tripwire does another code giveaway, no.
This is unlikely considering the absolute trainwreck that the last giveaway was. When the codes first went out, they were all missing a digit. Those who guessed their missing digit found that the codes didn't even work anyways. PC gamer sent out another batch of codes with all the digits, and those didn't work either. After a few days TW just ended up patching the game so all the codes worked. I ended up with 4 codes, so i just gave them away to some random people in a public lobby.
Edit: Jesus, people sell the skin for $20.
What the fuck?

I found a group that is "for helping the other people to get the skin". Is basically a trade center, where people trade CS:GO to actual games for the code

You know, that got me thinking, wasn't the new gore system made so you could shoot chunks off a zed without killing him outright?
If not, wouldn't that be cool? I'm not just talking about the head, I'm talking about the whole body. Shoot off an arm, it will keep moving towards you and try to bite you for example. Shoot off the legs, and it will crawl at you, maybe faster than it would have walk to you.

That would make quite new ways to deal with larger zeds, shoot chainsaw off, shoot another leg off from fleshpound and have this weird muscle beast hopping towards you with one leg.
Metal gear rising had that system and it was fun at times, enemies with no arms would either kick you or headbutt you.
Martial artists should have an emphasis on Bladed weapons if speculation is correct?
If that's true, they could very well use a skill that allows them to cut certain limbs off of certain zeds to cripple their power
It would help against the constant rage of a fleshpound and all that

That would be nice, not enough games do locational damage that way.
Im pretty sure they said they wouldn't be doing locational damage.
Im pretty sure they said they wouldn't be doing locational damage.
I'm feeling some locational damage right now.
In my heart.
surely headshots are already locational damage
I mean the technology is clearly there if we can already dismember parts via MEAT

im sure its only because of all the new animations they'd have to make for each body part that could possibly come off. I mean if you shot off a scrakes chainsaw, you'd have to completely change how the boss worked. Would it like, slap at you with its stub, annoying you while getting blood in your eyes or something?
It probably wouldn't take as long as it apparently takes gun models to be put in
probably :v:
as much as I'd love it, its clear what tripwires priorities are: being slow as hell. so even if they wanted locational damage and removal and such we'd see it in like 2020.
I imagine the scrake would punch the shit out of you
Have you seen how ripped that fucker is
I'd have to figure if they implemented limbs being shot off, they probably wouldn't extend it to the Scrake and Fleshpound.
They already tank rockets, they are pretty clearly pumped full of some serious shit to take such a battering.
Oh my, Suicidal is just insane, i fucking love it. It's what i always wanted
I'd love to do Suicidal more if my monitor didn't have blurring problems when things are in motion. My accuracy versus things moving parallel to me drops by at least 80%. :why:
I manage to stay decent by positioning myself so that enemies are coming directly toward me.
I'd enjoy suicidal more if you weren't destined to run out of bullets mid wave.
And if every person joining the game wasnt a level 2 gunslinger.

I had more of this on Hard. On Suicidal i got the ammo management fine, only on the first waves i went out few times
I'm experiencing strife when deciding between Rack 'Em Up and Bonebreaker.
On one hand, having 70% more damage is great.
On the other, I'm very unlikely to have the multiplier at all on anything harder than Hard mode due to the zeds running and dodging and swarming constantly, not to mention how much a Firebug can obscure precious enemy skulls.
Wait, you can drop actual items? If it's true then the game hates me, i just drop crates and usbs
After playing lots of suicidal and going down to hard you'll think: "These zeds are so slooooow".
And sometimes I'll forget husks don't have their flammenwerfer attack on hard and I'll piss my pants and scatter from a close husk thinking he'll werf flammen but instead just swipes at the air.

Enemies have two speeds:
Slow, steady.
and
FAST AS KENYANS!
I remember a while back there was a custom RPG-like server, what ever happened to it? AFAIK it stopped working after the Demo update.

I gotta say, this game is damn near impossible play with lag.
My current internet connection is pretty spotty (partially due to wifi in large building), so I will be running into a doorway only to suddenly get teleported three feet right. Or see a scrake moonwalk into space then instantly appear and chainsaw me in the face. Grenades gain sentience and randomly decide to not shoot, or to shoot but go backwards.
And yet, even with all this, I still play better than most pubs.
I used to have this really annoying rubber band lag, no matter how low my ping was I would get stuck in place for about 3 seconds (and this would happen 1 time every 2 minutes). I plugged my Ethernet cable into my router and never seen that lag since.
I used to have really bad performance all the time, the game used to run fine, but now it ran like shit, constantly stuck at 30 frames, usually maxed around 40 average, once it went to 7. Yesterday I got fed up with it and went into to options looking for anything I could turn off, and found out vsync was on. Seriously, does that just turn itself on? My friend had the same problem with GTAV's performance diving and after weeks found out it was also vsync activated itself. In their case, it happened after they got a new harddrive, in mine it was after a new monitor.
A bit off-topic but this new monitor is a bit of a curse, it's really nice in almost every way except for the fact that it's got a blurring problem when things are in motion at a certain speed. That speed is unfortunately about the speed you would typically use to track or adjust aim in a videogame. But I don't know if I can go back to my smoother but smaller 1080x1620 monitor, after having experienced 1920x1080.
