I wish people would actually branch out with maps. I mean there's like 30-something maps and people only want Locker/Shanghai/Golmud/Flood Zone and to a lesser extent Hainan/Lancang/Dawnbreaker. Like all of the Dragon's Teeth, China Rising and Final Stand maps are fantastic but i've barely played on any of them because people just want those same ones over and over again.

recently got back into BF4, and holy shit ranking up takes so much longer than BF3, also i should prolly pick up premium cuz some of the DLC guns look pretty neato so yeah, BF4 is pretty fun now that i can actually play it on Ultra decently

I was able to reach max level in like 400 hours because I abused a glitch that gave me 500 gold battlepacks and I made really good use of the double xp weekends.

Anyone rocking a laser sensor mouse on here? Bought a g502 (optical sensor) as I play a fair amount of Battlefield, but after one game it gave me bad cramps in the hand so I bought a Roccat Tyon to fit my big hand and it's a lot better for me. Comfort makes me play better than the sensor. Not sure how much of an improvement having an optical sensor is over a laser for this game, but I did slightly better in a round of Battlefield with the laser, over the optical. My only problem is I can't bind any actions to my mouse, which has like 11 buttons? Nothing binds in the options.

is dropping 50 bombs on TDM still considered decent?

That kind of sucks though because I'll have to load profiles individually for different games.

I think I caught the Ravic fever, I find myself trying to kill people with the smoke grenade launcher. I'll have a video of that soon.

The hell were they thinking?[/QUOTE] Pubstomping is a bit less common these days since they enabled auto-balance based on the skill rating. Only issue is that it doesn't split squads so if you're in a really good squad you can still crush everything. As for the smoke, IRNV/FLIR usage was getting really out of hand and there was no effective way to counter it except by making yourself really conspicuous with a flashlight or flares. Having smoke being able to conceal 100% of the time was a good way to make smoke grenades useful again.

skill based balancing is incredibly frustrating when you want to play with friends, especially if it's the kind of server where it doesn't allow you to switch teams if you've been autobalanced during the match IRNV and FLIR should not exist

The basic autobalancer only does it at the start of a match.

Fuck third-party bans Bought BF4 when it came out but didn't really get into it. Now in 2016 I decided to give it another ago, but found that half of the servers are inaccessible because some german fuck had [I]"borrowed"[/I] my account to go on a three day hacking spree back in early 2013. It was some crazy luck that in the few times I played BF4 before now, I hadn't joined a server with a third-party ban thingy

Recently re-installed this after upgrading my PC to new hardware. Happy to see 150FPS on Ultra. Game looks completely different compared to before.
