I hope you can reflect battleship shells back where they came from with your shovel
Correct me if I'm wrong, but they haven't said anything at all about a singleplayer campaign have they?
They mentioned that there's both multi and singleplayer but they seem to have only been talking about multiplayer stuff.

They said that you can experience a bunch of stuff "in multiplayer, as well as the campaign", but so far that's it.
Edit! They are now talking about the campaign itself.
they showed Italians so I feel it would be a waste if they didn't have them in MP.
I mean, they had the PLR in the Battlefield 3 campaign and didn't bother to include them in MP, which is why I say this.
Pretty good to have a Battlefield without lock-on weapons again :v:

I get the feeling that means the SP might be an afterthought like with previous BF games. I just want a sick historical SP campaign like the ones in the first few CoD games.
so is the return of naval combat confirmed?
Flip up scope attachment?

most likely just mounted to the side. They did that so the gun could be stripper-clip fed and you would have a lower profile when peeking out of the trench

I wouldn't be surprised if some of the footage was from SP, the more cinematic shots.
I understand the reason behind the name now, but its still stupid.
Also holy shit you can brutally bayonet people.

Yo, I didn't think of that. Flying a plane will be some much more fun without the beeping of a lock on every single second of flight.
snip
Sounds like the Battleship is like the AC-130 in BF3/4
HORSES
I CAN BE THE NECK-SLICING KNIGHT I ALWAYS WANTED TO BE
Campaign confirmed.

I wouldn't be so quick to appreciate it. Knowing BFBC2:V the biplanes will have the bullet resistance of a wet paper towel to "balance" them.
Multi-front campaign, yesssss
I wonder if they are going to show anything else or if that it is?
Livesteam questions?! Fucking lol, the chat is moving at like 50+ messages a second.
So a multi character campaign akin to the old WWII CoD games? Sounds like what I'm hoping for.

They can neither "confirm nor deny" that they'll be playable.
I'm sceptical, not because of its technical feasibility, but because a game where you can shoot horses dead stirs up more controversy than EA would want.

They keep saying 'the coming months'.

"We can neither confirm nor deny"
(Shakes head yes)
i hope the destruction is realistic

"I didn't think anybody would notice the masked guy shooting fire that took center stage in part of the trailer."

Yeah, I hope they've amped up the terrain deformation up quite a bit with all the trench warfare that's bout to happen.
Man, they did NOT let that middle guy talk about much of anything for this. Why are they even doing questions?
So many people flipping their shit about "the 'nothing happens' war", and one person apparently even claiming there was no air warfare, just boring trench combat and sitting out for days doing nothing.
I get that DICE is bending the truth for the sake of an action-packed game, but no wonder World War I is barely represented, most people completely discount it as a conflict since it wasn't the 'epic theaters of World War II'.
I don't think melee will factor in as much as they want it to, it never has.
I hope the mustard gas realistically blows back into allied trenches and kills everyone.
