Why the hell is Amazon even selling a PC copy? It's an empty freaking box. :v:
I bet it's the statue. The literally 2 foot tall freaking statue. I wonder what the cloth poster displays though. Apparently PC isn't good enough to get a collectors edition, but interesting tid-bit from the descripton: Assuming it's 100% correct, it sounds as if terrain deformation will be returning from the old alpha and beta of BF3. edit: Oh my, PC copies don't even come with a disk.
Have you seen terrain deformation in BF4 recently? With enough explosive you can make a ridiculously deep hole.
Have you seen terrain deformation in BF4 recently? You could probably find Alpha or Beta videos of Metro showing it.
It used to be pretty big in BF3, but then people just started digging through the map. You could probably find Alpha or Beta videos of Metro showing it.
I've seen it, I'm saying BF4 has it right now. You just need a LOT of explosives.
The train shown briefly just happens to be a russian armored train I modeled for school last year (Looks shitty because first time 3D modeling and only using primitives, no poly editing). It's called a Zaamurets and I think it also appeared in Toy Soldiers [thumb]http://puu.sh/oIJDJ/14e7bf0944.jpg[/thumb] I guess trains will be the grounded gunships
They're covering numerous theaters of WWI warfare, and bending the rules a little bit so there's an actual game to play instead of playing it wholly accurate. Then again the series has always done that, so it's no big deal in my book. World War I on the other hand is barely represented at all outside of a couple games like Verdun and historical strategy titles, and there's a surprising amount of things it contains that most people seem to overlook because of the general descriptions and World War II overshadowing it significantly.
If they do something for the singleplayer that skips around to the different fronts and battles, I want a mission regarding the Lost Battalion where your objective is to survive for as long as possible. I'm possibly a little biased because I had a Great-great uncle who died in that battle.
Side note, I'd pretty happy that the price is good ol' 59.99.
so he really is black
[t]http://ecx.images-amazon.com/images/I/91RFsh0ACsL._SL1500_.jpg[/t] http://www.amazon.com/Battlefield-1-Exclusive-Collectors-PlayStation-4/dp/B01F80SXRI/ref=sr_1_4?ie=UTF8&qid=1462569676&sr=8-4&keywords=battlefield+1 $220 (or 175.99 w/Amazon Prime) for only the PS4 or Xbone. jfc
it's cool, just not 220 dollar cool. especially since there's no PC Collector's edition.
so he really is black
Yep, Harlem Hellfighter
-muh merge???-
... especially since there's no PC Collector's edition.
Has any game ever had a statue the same size as this one? They're usually fairly modest in size, this one sure isn't. PC copy doesn't even get a disk, let alone any type of CE. :v:
Really looks interesting, but i feel like this one is going to be like battlefront. While i better hope it is not.
[t]http://ecx.images-amazon.com/images/I/91RFsh0ACsL._SL1500_.jpg[/t] http://www.amazon.com/Battlefield-1-Exclusive-Collectors-PlayStation-4/dp/B01F80SXRI/ref=sr_1_4?ie=UTF8&qid=1462569676&sr=8-4&keywords=battlefield+1 $220 (or 175.99 w/Amazon Prime) for only the PS4 or Xbone. jfc
The logo on that patch was on the side of one of the tanks in the trailer.
Really looks interesting, but i feel like this one is going to be like battlefront. While i better hope it is not.
I'm not even seeking to buy the game itself honestly, but Battlefront was a case of a massive cash-grab on the hype and popularity of The Force Awakens last year, and outside of the graphics and sound design, the rest of the game's principles reeked of something you'd see in a low-budget shooter. This is a full-blown Battlefield game, main line, so the worst you probably have to worry about is a completely and utterly broken launch.
Really looks interesting, but i feel like this one is going to be like battlefront.
Well this has 64 players and a Campaign.
[t]http://ecx.images-amazon.com/images/I/91RFsh0ACsL._SL1500_.jpg[/t] http://www.amazon.com/Battlefield-1-Exclusive-Collectors-PlayStation-4/dp/B01F80SXRI/ref=sr_1_4?ie=UTF8&qid=1462569676&sr=8-4&keywords=battlefield+1 $220 (or 175.99 w/Amazon Prime) for only the PS4 or Xbone. jfc
That shot of him on the steel box really reminds me of an actor. I hope they didn't splurge on actors
... so the worst you probably have to worry about is a completely and utterly broken launch.
You would think that after having that happen what, three times now? They'd know how to reasonably handle launch day surges.
You would think that after having that happen what, three times now? They'd know how to reasonably handle launch day surges.
It's DICE, and probably not DICE LA who were the ones that made Battlefield 4 good post-launch. Somehow fixing one thing somewhere in Battlefield 3 would completely break another altogether.
So horses ARE confirmed for more than just singleplayer.
[t]http://ecx.images-amazon.com/images/I/91RFsh0ACsL._SL1500_.jpg[/t] http://www.amazon.com/Battlefield-1-Exclusive-Collectors-PlayStation-4/dp/B01F80SXRI/ref=sr_1_4?ie=UTF8&qid=1462569676&sr=8-4&keywords=battlefield+1 $220 (or 175.99 w/Amazon Prime) for only the PS4 or Xbone. jfc
That figure looks ridiculously high quality so most of that price is probably just for the figure.
JackFrags just released a video with a bunch of high-res screenshots.
So horses ARE confirmed for more than just singleplayer.
Dazzle camo dreadnaught Holy fuck naval battles confirmed?
Hi guys. Just passing by to say that the game is amazing. Trust us with this one.
Hi guys. Just passing by to say that the game is amazing. Trust us with this one.
[del]What do you mean by that?[/del]
Programming intern @EA_DICE.
oh nevermind. Now to think, what JackFrags said in video, the game sounds pretty interesting. It sounds like a big change from 4, especially with Medic being separate class and some sort of "vehicle specific class". Naval combat better have Carrier Assault element to it though.
Please tell me the sides are going to be allowed to be different again. I want each side to have unique weapons and vehicles again.
Hi guys. Just passing by to say that the game is amazing. Trust us with this one.
Is there anything you're allowed to hint at for us?
Hi guys. Just passing by to say that the game is amazing. Trust us with this one.
Do you think you can tell us how historically accurate the game will be?
I wish I was a youtuber who got to play the game. [editline]6th May 2016[/editline] Boy oh boy this will really be awkward if it has another Battlefield 4 type disaster of a launch and all these Youtubers have been hyping it up and teasing people into pre-ordering. That sure would be tragic :v: [sp]hopefully Battlefront means DICE has learned to launch a game[/sp]
They wouldn't do something as stupid as release it without a server browser like Battlefront, would they? Barring that and the threat of DLC overload I'm not too worried.
