I want a feature that sends FBI agents to your house to arrest you and take you to gitmo where you'll never be seen again if you don't drop your fucking medkit or ammo
I will forward this to the team.
I really hope Dice will not abandon some core Battlefield features to please new generation with Moba/Dota like stuff in new Battlefield 1. The newest Star Wars Battlefront was like it and It was terrible.
What do you mean?
Turn Defibrillator into SKILL 1 that has a cooldown 7 sec. Stuff like that.
I want a feature that sends FBI agents to your house to arrest you and take you to gitmo where you'll never be seen again if you don't drop your fucking medkit or ammo
One thing I dislike in BF4 is that if you are on radio(/chat) silence, and ask for a med/ammo kit, nothing happens, worse on a HC because no minimap lightup Not a problem for US soliders because they call it out in english Reminds me of a time we had like two squads pushing Bravo, I'm at the back and call out "I need Ammo" and the guy's up front "Here's your Ammo"
Someone dropping ammo/medkit for you within 5 seconds of you requesting it is a beautiful sight indeed.
is there an actual quote on not having battlelog? because battlelog is a server browser
I would have to dig it up but they said the server browser was accessible in-game and out, so it's probably an in-game integration of Battlelog. They wouldn't comment on custom dedicated servers.
I really hope they get rid of battlelog. its honestly the biggest thing that turns me off of battlefield in general.
I actually don't dislike Battlelog that much OUTSIDE OF THE FACT that you have to install a plug-in on your fucking browser. I had a few friends that had a shitload of troubles with this fucking plugin.
Someone dropping ammo/medkit for you within 5 seconds of you requesting it is a beautiful sight indeed.
I wish it would be louder on telling you when someone wanted it. The audio cue is barely audible, and it rarely actually flashes an icon above the player.
I really hope they get rid of battlelog. its honestly the biggest thing that turns me off of battlefield in general.
On the contrary, I love how I can select and join a server in my browser without having to wait for the game to launch, and I can do other stuff while the level is loading in the background. Except the plugin isn't needed anymore.
Battlelog is also the cause of those extreme loading times which BF3 and 4 are suffering from, if i am correct. Likewise it is full of bugs that makes joining servers a hassle, and makes it take forever to close the game + for it to realize you did close the game.
Battlelog is also the cause of those extreme loading times which BF3 and 4 are suffering from, if i am correct.
You are not. HDDs are the cause of long loading times.
You are not. HDDs are the cause of long loading times.
Hey. Would you say most of our questions and concerns will probably be addressed at EA Play?
Battlelog is also the cause of those extreme loading times which BF3 and 4 are suffering from, if i am correct.
The people using SSDs to win Rush rounds before anyone else loaded in would like to have a little chat with you

Likewise it is full of bugs that makes joining servers a hassle, and makes it take forever to close the game + for it to realize you did close the game.
Remember both 1942 and battlefield 2 had long load times on the hardware of their times, battlefield 2 used to take 10 minutes+ for me on some maps.
Are you saying I should install BF1 on an SSD? :v: Maybe I should get something larger than 250gb.
On the contrary, I love how I can select and join a server in my browser without having to wait for the game to launch, and I can do other stuff while the level is loading in the background.
This is why god invented alt-tabbing, without requiring to reload the entire game whenever you disconnect or change servers I'm not even sure where people got the idea battlelog was anything but disguised DRM, everything about it screams inconvenience compared to regular in game menus
Are you saying I should install BF1 on an SSD? :v: Maybe I should get something larger than 250gb.
Before they patched the minimum player start in, people with SSDs would load in and blow up the first set of MCOMs at the very least
It takes 2-3 minutes for me to load in on a HDD, my friend has SSD and after he's loaded a level for the first time the proceeding load times are 20-30 seconds for him. The only one I never seemed to have load issue with was Bad Company 2.
Some of my levels seem to load between 10 and 20 seconds as well, I've got it installed on a PCI-E SSD. The funny thing is, I also have instances where I load instantly
You are not. HDDs are the cause of long loading times.
OH well, i always heard it had something to do with the game needing to start up and cache everything when starting each level. Obviously HDD and SSD would have something to do with it regardless though.
Logged into Battlelog last night, I guess i'm not nearly as far in BF4 as I thought I was. Only rank 10.
I just found out I have about 60 battlepacks, most of them are gold!
I forget how long it takes to redownload BF4 every time I do it :v:
anyone have a get gud guide? playing for extended periods makes me sad with myself
anyone have a get gud guide? playing for extended periods makes me sad with myself
Hardcore Servers = less bullets to kill = more people using guns that aren't close range swiss cheese makers = A better chance for you to not die whenever you run into battle. But it also = more snipers, which means learn to hide. Staying nice and hidden in one spot might not be the best for constant action, but if you can flank nicely, you should be able to get some kills before getting noticed (and murdered). Situational Awareness is key, and headphones with audio set to surround helps quite a bit.
You are not. HDDs are the cause of long loading times.
Bit weird this because even with it installed on my SSD it can take fucking forever to load.
- I got sniped -
u w0t m8? Night vision scopes? in fucking 1918? the BF1 Q&A tidbits [sauce] held on the official BF twitter: Twitter confirmation for the night vision 'night IRNV or FLIR or NVG type gun scopes' here. I'm highly skeptical on this one... I did the research... Unless they teleported in the future of 1939 or later on in 1945 and stole some Zielgerät 1229 devices (infrared) from the germans...
You've misread it. The question was "Please can you confirm that there will be no night IRNV or FLIR or NVG Type gun scopes?" to which the response was "[It is] Confirmed [that there won't be]"
