you t-bagged an admin or just a random player? if it was an admin, he really got mad lol
I t-bagged the founder of Sneaky Old Bastards himself: http://www.clansob.com/profile/285675/info Sure, they're big on being respectful but I never insulted him. What's wrong with a little t-bag? It's part of the competitive spirit.

So I don't really think it's about being respectful for them, it's more about only being respectful TO them. Also, he seems to love his guns way too much.
I get this error a lot. What does it mean? [editline]21st February 2015[/editline] I do not think I have ever been in a server with a hacker in BF4, and if I have they were very subtle about it. Also I never really tried before but shooting helicopters out of they sky with a rpg is very satisfying.
Do you have this issue with other direct x11 games or just battlefield 4? I had this issue a while back and it basically turned out my 770 was flawed from production. My games kept blackscreening and drivers kept crashing and I got that error alot. It slowly got worse until nothing was playable, I did so much troubleshooting and eventually sent off my 770 and got a replacement. If it's just battlefield 4 then I'd suggest just completley removing anything nvidia related on your pc and doing a full clean reinstall of your drivers. The issue itself is something to do with a feature called time out detection recovery I think. I read up a little on it when I was having the issue. It's where the GPU or driver doesn't communicate with windows for a split second, so to prevent a BSOD, windows kills the driver and restarts it. As great as that is at saving you from a BSOD, a lot of games don't support that happening and crash out, I think the only game I know of which allows drivers to recover and still keep playing is banished. Anyways, hope any of that blah text may help

I just assumed my 770 was overheating and that I somehow fucked it up despite it never artifacting in the typical overclock/overheat way. I've been having the exact same symptoms as what you're describing and it's been extremely frustrating trying to find some solution to it. In Battlefield and a handful of other games I get the same problem. After playing for a while I'll get a crash exactly as the guy described, but DCS has always been the worst offender where it would sometimes cause the display driver to crash multiple times in the span of only a few minutes. I've tried everything driver related I could think of to try and fix this but none if has worked. The best I've been able to do was to use MSI Afterburner to limit the power draw to ~70% of the normal draw, ~75% of the normal clock rate, and prevent it from ever reaching a temperature higher than ~62C, and yeah... that's my workaround. It seems to work after doing that but the card and its performance is gimped. By the way, DCS can actually survive and recover from a driver crash, but it's extremely disruptive to gameplay when it does it. From the sounds of it though, seems as though my 770 is fucked. I bought it a while ago so I doubt it's covered under any warranty anymore. It still sucks ass, but you've given me peace of mind that maybe whatever this was, it might not have been something I did did, and confirmation that it's fucked.

Mine was a Gainward 770 phantom, I think it had something to do with the factory overclock was unstable or maybe someone just stepped on it but I couldn't underclock it myself without voiding the warranty so I sent it back. I never actually heard jack shit from gainward factory themselves, so I contacted my retailer (overclockers) and they sent me out a replacement made by Asus instead. I did see rumblings on forums though that maybe there was a bad batch of 6-7 series cards and I was just one of the unlucky ones. I duno, maybe you can press the issue with whoever you bought it from and try to point out that others have had issues with it being fucked from factory so although it's out of warranty, it was technically fucked when you got it and if they're kind MAYBE they'll be nice and replace it but who knows.

I'm gonna be getting a new GPU some time soon anyway, getting around 1k back from taxes just don't know what card to get. Ill try a fresh install of nvidia drivers though. Still sucks though
Okay, well lemme know how it goes :) Perhaps it's something to do with the overclock from factory but i'm not expert so beh. If I play a lot it happens usually twice a day or something but its not that big of a deal, just usually happens when I am doing good in a match.
Like assassin_Raptor, mine was an EVGA that was overclocked by the factory. I've also since formatted my computer and the problem never went away.
Did you try running the DX install that came with the game? I remember hearing before that there was an issue where not all the DirectX components were being installed when you normally ran / first installed the game itself.

Worth a try regardless.

There's a Double XP event going on for anyone that doesn't know yet.
Yeah, they don't even announce them in advance anymore? Seems random.
Yeah, they don't even announce them in advance anymore? Seems random.
It has been at the top of battlelog. 2XP FRENZY EVENT: RANK UP IN BF4 WITH DOUBLE XP FROM FEB 24TH - MAR 1ST. EVERYONE ON ALL PLATFORMS ARE INCLUDED.

I was kinda baffled when I loaded up Battlelog the next day and saw the banner and the dates on it. Weird.

Ever since that battlepack glitch a few months ago that allowed my to get like 500 gold battlepacks, any new battlepack I get is pure XP boosters. :v:
I noticed about the event on 24th via Reddit, not Battlelog, there wasnt a text box announcing it back when it started
I see, I thought I had seen it up there for a week or something. Guess not.
I've got to say, intentionally avoiding to look at the scoreboard mid-match is probably the best service you can do to yourself.
I've got to say, intentionally avoiding to look at the scoreboard mid-match is probably the best service you can do to yourself.
I never do it because it never occurs to me. Maybe in like, competitive Counter-Strike because there's only five people per team, but in a game where it's a common occurrence to have 32 people on each team, nah.
Winter patch will be released tomorrow! Among the (presumed) changes sits the ability to customize your hitmarkers and sight reticles No official patch notes yet. They'll be released tomorrow
