Thats why I still use slugs because of that bc2 nostalgia. I can still do somewhat well k/d wise with slugs and while it is definitely inferior in a lot of situations I still have fun using it. Once you get used to slow down projectile and the weird bullet drop they give it you can still hit people at medium to far range if you utilize the tracers properly.
The issue is mostly the defensive perk. That stuff is BS.
Tbh they need to do slugs like Hardline, imo theh're fantastic in that. I get more kills with that than i do even my precious harpoon gun.
Slugs on shotguns in BF3 were a lot of fun, Jackhammer with slugs was some spooky stuff from what I remember. [editline]26th May 2016[/editline] fuck I want to play BF3 again now
I've just bought BF4 with promo code, the money were withdrawn from my credit card and 2 minutes later they came back. Is it normal?
I've just bought BF4 with promo code, the money were withdrawn from my credit card and 2 minutes later they came back. Is it normal?
EA said "we don't need your money, we got Battlefield 1 coming up"
I mean holy shit, I have a free BF4 now.
I mean holy shit, I have a free BF4 now.
No you don't just wait...
DAO-12 slugs. Spread the terror.
Saiga snipes across the Metro
Still miss the pre-nerf pump shotguns, they didn't deserve it imo and only the cancerous semi-autos did. Never forget, 25 meter UTS-15 one-shotting.
Bc2 pre nerf Carl Gustaf were the dream. Service medal ahoy!
NS2000 slugs on BC2 is where it's at. You could one shot headshot people from the attackers' island on Isla Innocentes to the defenders' area.
One of my favorite things to do has always been to fly around as a passenger is a chopper with Frag rounds. Not the most effective but you'll get assist ribbons out the ear and the occasional kill is satisfying.
Day two: Origin is still failing to withdraw the money from my credit card.
One of my favorite things to do has always been to fly around as a passenger is a chopper with Frag rounds. It's like having a shorty flak cannon on board. EDIT: Regarding missiles, DICE should check out how Bohemia Interactive handles it in ARMA2/3. If I recall properly (haven't used a MANPADs in those game since 2014), if you launched it between 4 o clock and 8 o clock of an enemy chopper and it was very close, it was a guaranteed hit. Any other angle and it would utterly fail. Flares wouldn't help if it was too close, but at mid range a close detonation could fuck up some part of the heli and force you to land or go to a service crew somewhere. The thing is, obviously, the path DICE has chosen leads to a more friendly individual play style, whereas BF2 required some more coordination (if there is no CAS for a while.....). If they implement limited missiles, no auto regen and so on, it would lead to a huge backlash from the community. If it was for me, I would totally support any kind of modification that drives the game more towards resource management/logistics. I hate that idea of having Sukois with last gen 3D printers printing missiles.... [editline]28th May 2016[/editline]
aw. :frown:
It's ok. Nobody dares to mess with rossiya players. EDIT: Hey another issue, sorry to make this larger, but: Have we already debated over the issue of WW1 rifles being OHK? I mean, they've got to be OHK otherwise it just....idk...boring for me. Gives it a little bit more adrenaline when you are mano a mano with somebody else. Some german general if I'm not mistaken had said, when asked about the Garand, that it actually made american troops less accurate. Germans troops where more accurate because "If you fucked up one of your slow 5 shots, you're fucked up". Yeah, he didn't say it like THAT. But you get the idea.
Day three: they finally got me.
Two weeks until EA Play. I hope journalists are able to record raw gameplay from the demo booths. I'd like to see a few full matches.
So, after dicking around in BF4 for a couple of days and getting used to differences between it and BF3 I can say that the game is great fun and money well spent. No regrets whatsoever.
ever played on a server where the admins deliberately camp in a tank, make it so then a majority of their team is level 130+ and then proceed to literally camp in front of the enemy base essentially making it a duck shoot? I just was on the receiving end and it was fucking bullshit

Right now i'm playing tdm exclusively because I need to unlock some items to be proficient in gamemodes like conquest and I havent encountered too much bullshit, just annoying players that called me cheater because I was playing on cqb maps with bolt-action rifle with reflex sight.
Anyone know when they'll release the next free bf4 dlc? And what it will be?
Anyone know when they'll release the next free bf4 dlc? And what it will be?
No real hints have been given out, so we can only guess
Two weeks until EA Play. I hope journalists are able to record raw gameplay from the demo booths. I'd like to see a few full matches.
There's gonna be a 64-player recording event with the top youtubers/community people of BF.

Which is a shame for all the reasons every Battlefield player thinks. I didn't get hyped for BF3 or BF4 until they showed their respective MP gameplay trailers, both of which were awesome and everything that people love about Battlefield. I need to see real gameplay before I can really get excited about BF1. There's so many ways for them to screw it up, and after Battlefront I'm worried that they'll carry over trends from that game (and modern shooters in general) rather than trying to set themselves apart and take advantage of their unique setting. It's why I'm chomping at the bit to see more about BF1. This game will make or break Battlefield.
Thats why I'm glad the server I play on rarely has an admin on. The only rule enforced is you can't spout racist shit. Only issue is that a couple clans regularly play on the server and it can be a stomp sometimes.
exactly like the only server I play on (rocknroll, its a german server that does high ticket conquest maps) Literally everyones chill, I got fairly well known around there for being the only one to casually just shoot down aircraft in a tank like 3 times on average per match; although theres like two clans that always play on there and when they are on they are usually on the same team, so expect to either have a shit ton of consecutive loses/wins
I heard a slightly saddening story from my BF about one time when he went to a server, and the admin was attack/scout heli only, and had banned the following: "igla, stinger, RPG/SMAW/SRAW/LAW/TOW/TANK/anything against helis, MAA and any air vehicles that he didn't fly. How that server ever got a larger population, i have no idea.
