I honestly don't understand how people think 64-player operation locker/metro is fun. It's just a ridiculous meatgrinder, helpful for grinding for exp, but not for actually having fun.
64 player 'The Block' is far, far, far worse than Metro/Locker ever got.
Well I appear to be halfway competent at pistol only servers!
32 criminals robbing the same place seems more like a coup d'état. In fact, I think that could be the perfect setting for a KOTH Gamemode.
The thing I dislike the most in BF4/BFH is the usual snowballing that happens in almost every round. As soon as one team gets a slight overhand, it just gets exponentially worse for the opposing team, and 9/10 times they won't be able to make any form of comback. Team stacking/leavers don't make the situation any better either. Even though it might sound counter-intuitive, I'd think it would be way more fun that the bigger the lead of one team is, the slower the losing team loses tickets. Say that the winning team holds 4 of the 5 conquest points and has ~50% more tickets: Instead of the opposing team losing 4 tickets a second, they'd only lose two tickets in this case. Longer matches for both teams, more opportunity for a comeback, less "hopeless" rounds and teamcount shenanigans.

so when will the new weapons come out for bf4?
so when will the new weapons come out for bf4?
it will be in the spring patch (without the night maps yet, devs stated theyre still under heavy W.I.P., inusual game crashes from they have seen), final days of may
To be honest servers with a good autobalance plugin give me the best matches.
Any tips on finding those? I hate going in these matches where's it's 800 - 500 or 100- 599
Man, I am bad at BF4. Sometimes I'll do alright as Engineer, but outside of that I just can't manage to hit anybody. Sure I'm capping points like no tomorrow, but it feels like everyone sees me from everywhere always. Maybe I should consider picking a proper camo :v:

The only good camo I've ever had in BF4 was UCP for the US, it actually helped me quite alot when near water or rockformations. Other than that it doesn't do much.
Got Hardline, first two matches went great and it went downhill rapidly after that. How do people survive point blank shotgun blasts all the time?
Got Hardline, first two matches went great and it went downhill rapidly after that. How do people survive point blank shotgun blasts all the time?
I barely see people using shotguns.
Bad Company 2 VS Battlefield 3 multiplayer wise? I'm having quite a bit fun with BC2 even tho the game essentially boils down to who stays hidden longer and shoots down the guy who exposed himself or just grenade spam before dying. Still, pretty fun multiplayer and weapons are great.
I barely see people using shotguns.
Well starting off it's all you got as Enforcer. I like giving myself ammo
Well starting off it's all you got as Enforcer. I like giving myself ammo
get a DMR immediately, they are basically amped up assault rifles. i hope the K10 gets nerfed into the ground, so fucking annoying having an smg with 1500 RPM unload a 30 round mag in 2 seconds.
Ech this whole game is worse than BF4. I can't even join my friend to play a game. We always end up on opposite teams. I get killed by people no where in my vicinity by weapons that aren't even sniper rifles.... sorry for ranting but this is ridiculous. I got over my previous gripes though. Mechanic is fun and shit. But hte how I need to get 1250 kills on my UMP and the .44 Magnum to use them on cops, plus buy both for 50,000 a pop.
I can't believe I've been playing BF4 since release (no dlc) and i just saw the j35 turn into a vstol for the first time the other day. Completely blew my mind i didn't know about it for so long
Any tips for using pistols in BF4? It feels way different to use them compared to BF3.

I've RPG'd two F-35s in VTOL mode, and both times I remember thinking "What did he expect?"
Any tips for using pistols in BF4? It feels way different to use them compared to BF3.
Just point and spam. It's simple. I suggest the 5-7 as a sidearm unless you're going pistol only or something. It has really good damage at range and high accuracy, so it is really good for finishing off a wounded opponent at range. As far as pistol only is concerned, P226 or M9 are okay for general well rounded pistols.

Of course that's if your enemy is anywhere further than 10 meters.
Or go with the G18, acquire heavy barrel + optic and bask in the glory of your pocket bullet hose. Of course it's only worth a damn if you ADS with it, don't even try to hip-fire the thing unless you're in hugging range. [editline]14th April 2015[/editline] Also being a support to use it is pretty much a requirement since you're gonna run out of ammo like always.
Just played the game for the first time since November, seriously wondering if it was this buggy back then or something actually borked it-- in less than three hours of play I was killed by 4 baseball caps scooting around on top of the ground, fell through the world, got stuck inside wrecked ship on Paracel Storm, lagged backwards out of cover to get killed god knows how many times, and watched the top half of a dude on my killcam stretch out like a wacky inflatable arm waving man.
Same as it was in BF3 actually
And 2
Okay so my old PS3 got fried, had to get a new one, and I had to make a new PSN account. Will I still have my BF4 multiplayer data? I still have my Origin account.
i don't think so, the same thing happened to my brother(xbox to PC), sadly all of his progress didn't carry over
