You can carry your progress from Xbox 360 to Xbox One or PS3 to PS4 but nothing else sadly.

tidal wave map?
Is it just me or does it vaguely look like that Halo map with the hills around (can't remember the name).
I think it looks kinda dull, and the development textures makes me think of china rising
Blood Gulch?
Yeah, that's the one.
Looks a lot like China Rising. I'd much rather have a Europe setting. Harvest Day or something.

That was because the weapon was a damage over time gun with a continuous beam. Basically it applied damage every frame. All this means is that the game sends server updates every frame, which is independent of a weapon's rate of fire. I suppose in theory it could mean somebody with a really high framerate could kill faster than someone with an absolutely garbage framerate, i.e. in extreme situations, but it depends on the details of implementation and what the server is doing.

In practice I'm guessing that they're just going to increase the tickrate up to something like 60 and tie it to the framerate so that each frame could represent a tick. [editline]23rd April 2015[/editline] At the same time, it could be possible that the incoming tickrate stays at 30 but the outgoing tickrate be completely reliant on the client, so that it helps resolve disputes between 2 clients (the server may be coded to have a bias toward lower-ping and higher-FPS clients). This is 100% speculation so take it with a grain of salt.
Hey it's double xp get your game on. [editline]3rd May 2015[/editline] Time to pop those 200% XP boosters.
I'm a great fucking medic in BF3.
Hey it's double xp get your game on. [editline]3rd May 2015[/editline] Time to pop those 200% XP boosters.
Can you even combine double xp events with boosters? I think I tried that once but it didn't work
Can you even combine double xp events with boosters? I think I tried that once but it didn't work
It does. The double exp with the 200% boost makes it a 400% boost, and you level up so fast it's ridiculous
It does. The double exp with the 200% boost makes it a 400% boost, and you level up so fast it's ridiculous
God damnit, and I missed the double xp event since I'm not home with my ps4. However, out of pure absitence I happened to buy BF3 for my laptop - holy hell everything feels weird in the beginning.
It does. The double exp with the 200% boost makes it a 400% boost, and you level up so fast it's ridiculous
*600%. 100% booster is twice the XP. 200% booster is 3 times the XP. 3×2=6 times XP. There's a reason why I have nearly 1500 score per minute. [editline]4th May 2015[/editline] According to Better Battlelog, I only have 60 hours till level 140! [editline]4th May 2015[/editline] Getting medals during the double XP weekend with a 200% booster is Godlike.
my friend went to level 14 to 20 in one game with a 100% booster double XP weekends are insane stuff
Now I miss my ps4 even more. We gotta keep this thread alive guys - just started playing. Btw, how the fuck do you get beastly with the helicopters in bf4? I feel like every server has at least one helicopter demon invincible to AA rockets and other aircrafts [editline]5th May 2015[/editline] At least I'd want to be able to take them down from the ground. Sometimes the SRAW works but it rarely happens.

Sometimes the SRAW works but it rarely happens.
The "Invincible Demon" is probably using a "Support Pilot & Engineer Gunner on Scout Chopper" setup. If the pilot wants to be a hard counter to other aircraft, he'll run AA missiles with minigun. He drop a supply crate on the little bird, the engineer has a repair tool and AA launcher. What they do is the engineer will launch a missle at another aircraft to trigger its countermeasures. Then the pilot will follow with both its AA missiles to completely disable it and if need be use its miniguns to finish it off. The engineers also repairs the aircraft if needed. If the enemy team doesn't have any good pilots, he can probably risk the explosive chainguns (which completely wrecks infantry) and if the enemy team is completely incompetent he can switch the AA missiles for a anti-tank missile, which makes him pretty much good anything that has legs, wheels or threads. A little bird running AT and Chaingun can pretty much wreck a tank in 20 seconds flat, it's just vulnerable to Air vehicles unlike the Attack Chopper.

How does the supply crate come in play in this setup? Is it to restock the engineer gunner?
Oh alright, damn I have a lot to unlock for the choppers then. How does the supply crate come in play in this setup? Is it to restock the engineer gunner?
Yes. Worst case scenario if you're alone you can run engie AA and quick switch seats to get a launcher shot off and then go back to the pilot seat.
http://bf4central.com/2015/05/free-battlefield-4-content/ Neat
that would be great and i would take advantage of it, if only bf4 could run swell on my comp and not look like a 4th grade painting
http://bf4central.com/2015/05/free-battlefield-4-content/ Neat
Damn nice! It's nice to see them not abandoning bf4 just because hardline was released
Damn nice! It's nice to see them not abandoning bf4 just because hardline was released
They probably realized that they shouldn't alienate BF4 players even more than they did with Hardline.
4 and Hardline have different devs, but even if they were the same devs, I would still be supporting BF4 right now because Hardline is not doing well
Just to clarify, BF4 CTE is getting not only developed by DICE LA, but also (part of the) Visceral team..... After the netcode changes, if everything is ready to implement, it will be added to both games For those who are not aware of whats happening in the CTE -The CMP (Community Map Project) now have vegetation, ancient ruins and the caps/spawns had been moved -All of the Weapons Bundle models and textures are mostly done, but the stats and sound are still under WIP -The AN94 is awesome, however, is not crazy OP as in BF3 or BFBC2, use it medium to long ranges -Now there are 60 AND 120 HZ tickrate servers (have in mind that the game released with a shitty 10hz tickrate, which is horrible, this mean a huge step) however, its under heavy progress and will not be implemented in the next patch -A lot of weapons stats had been changed, for ex. the RPK is now more competent against other LMGs
Holy shit 120hz tickrate servers INSTANT BONER!
the RPK is now more competent against other LMGs
Y E S E S
