I think it's curred post-buff damage model is 30-20.
Real hardcore stuff, a well deserved buff
About damn time they buffed the RPK.
Is there any potential ETA for the update?
I'm definitely going to download BF4 again for it
End of may I believe
Still waiting for this damn Premium for BF4 to go on sale. Been waiting for so long I'm almost tempted just to go ahead and pay full price.
Will the ranked matchmaking be implemented soon?

I think it was on sale recently (30% discount or so)
Oh damn, lots of stuff happened ever since I stopped playing BF4 last year.
Any new shotties in the weapons bundle? Or atleast any kind of shottie balance change?

No new shotties but there will be heavy balance on shotties AND sniper rifles, due to SG being mostly useless and only 1 SR being used by skrubs (Cheytac)

That's cool. I always thought the shotties in BF4 were VERY weak compared to BF3 in which they were very strong, especially the good old 870+flachette loadout.
Hopefully the netcode improvements will also help out the shotties since it was one of the main reasons why getting a close OHK was a nightmare.

If you want an excellent shottie loadout, go with the Saiga 12K with Full Choke and Buckshot. Just make sure to aim down sight. It is extremely reliable. With the cobra and tactical light I erase my enemies at up to 15 meters. It's only good for 1 or 2 targets but the fast reload makes up for it.

Loading the next map, gonna try it out.
870 w/ full choke + flachette's pretty wonky since I can get OHK up to considerable distance while sometimes I need 3 shots to kill someone in close range.
Edit:
HOLY FUCKING SHIT IT"S SO FUCKING GOOD

Haha, seems like I'm not crazy after all. I kept wondering if it was placebo or not.
Might just be me not playing BF4 for a long time, but is there any way to reduce the amount of vegetation? I literally can't see jack shit on Zavod with the goddamn trees clipping inside the warehouse and the fact that tactical lights are way brighter now doesn't help either.
I usually play with everything on the lowest settings except for Anti-Aliasing.
Gotta get that 144 frames, man.
Anyone feel like doing the BF3 co-op missions with me?
I just gotta get these weapons man.

Of course I missed it... Been so busy with finishing up the semester I haven't been able to game for a few weeks. I wonder if there's any way to get an email or something to notify about a sale. Like steam does when an item on the wishlist goes on sale.

Isn't it on sale right now? Check the store
I probably should have mentioned that Im on the PS4. Unless it's possible to purchase a code on origin and plug it in the ps store or something. I was also thinking maybe emailing/hassling the ps store or whomever about a deal since origin is offering the premium edition discounted so why can't i just be able to pay for the packs discounted
Oh, yeah. Console game sales and Origin game sales rarely coincide, unfortunately.
you can buy console editions through origin iirc
Possibly, I am ill-informed regarding matters relating to console gaming.
There's something about BF4's auto shottie sounds that just makes me go full on orgasm.
Seriously, I just can't get enough of the sound of an auto shotgun being loaded downrange followed by an echoing *POM POK PAWK*
Also, is the MK11 a good DMR? I've been having this annoying feeling to try them out and I wanna do so later and could use some advice.
Loved my time with the MK11, tho I prefer the SKS for its higher RoR

I think the MK11 is the weapon I have the most kills with and I love it but I'm trying to avoid DMRs for a while now. However, slap a laser, ergo, heavy barrel and an acog on it and you've got a great setup which is usable in both close quarters as well as longer ranges, it's not unusual to get marksman kills with this setup if you use it well.
I feel like the RFB is arguably the better option from all the DMRs. I use it quite alot even after having unlocked all of them and played with most. But probably the things you want to look for is stability and RoF. You really just got to give them a thorough run with a few maps to figure out what you like. Could probably look at some "on paper" stats to see what sounds worth a try.
Thinking about it more all the DMRs should be worth a try and it will most likely come from personal preference as I can't really think of a "best", though there may be better options depending on the general range you will be likely fighting from.
If you use a dmr, make sure to go with support and G18 as secondary. G18 with red dot and heavy barrel will wreck shit at a surprising distance if you ADS

It's a pocket bullet hose that reloads in a second.

Sorry for just asking this but is anyone up for doing this this weekend?
Don't think that many people have BF3 installed, unfortunately.
You guys would think it could be worth making exhaustive video tutorials at this point for BF4?
