It depends what game type and map you play on. I used to play TDM Operation Locker all the time, and now since no one runs that anymore I stick to Conquest Operation Metro without explosives. With Metro, I feel that the Russian side always gets B first, but if one team can get far enough past B it's pretty much their win, and I'm not always sure who will win until 2/3 of the match in.

The lack of autobalance most of the time can be frustrating but don't expect too much sympathy with that kind of attitude.
Best advice for now is to find a server with a good autobalance plugin. Going on 32 players servers instead of 64 might further be able to alleviate frustration.
Double XP plus +200% XP boost is fucking insane. I went from rank 1 to rank 34 in 9 hours of playtime.
Also, I love the 44 magnum.
Haven't played this in a few months because one of the earlier DICE LA patches caused the game to crash 3 minutes into a round; is there any information about this, or am I the only one with this bug?
I haven't played in a couple of months either, but jumping back in it was noticeably more stable. I haven't crashed yet, and I only got any sort of hiccups due to the server getting DDoS'd.

Feel the pain as you gain only one level for that same amount of playtime when you're level 135.
Spring patch is coming this Tuesday!
The Spring Patch is coming the 26 and will include:
-5 new weapons (L86, AN94, Mare´s Leg, Groza-1, Groza-4)
-New gamemode Gunmaster
-New stats for LMG, AR, Carbines and a few others
-Massive improvements of the netcode (it will NOT include the 60 and 120hz tickrate, its still WIP, but it will likely come in the near future)
It will not include the Night Maps or the CMP due to those being under heavy WIP

The guns will be unlocked automatically, you dont need to do stupid assignments in order to use them
I really hope the netcode improvements will finally stop those bullshit moments where your second Saiga shot doesn't register.
Other than that, is this the same patch that'll include the shottie consistency improvements?

Also just played a quick round of Project Reality. Nothing quite as satisfying as popping a clean headshot on an SPG gunner who thinks he's being a cheeky cunt. Like, a half hour round with only 4 kills but damn if each and every single one wasn't super satisfying.

Damage Drop-off limit.
Basically the distance after which you will be dealing the lowest damage with that weapon.
