I disagree, support will always be the best lonewolf character. Unlimited ammo and can take out infantry and vehicles. Plus a silenced MG4 (fast, accurate, 200 round mag) can just wipe the floor if you flank people.
Since we're all talking about classes, and I've been bingewatching all this guys stuff because it's all really damn good, I figure this is worth posting. It's the same guy as before, and his take on how classes could be done in a future Battlefield game. It's not too different from BF4, but with the key feature that Medic and Assault are now two different classes, and there are also now special context sensitive classes (Commander, Squad Leader, and Pilot) that get assumed automatically when you take that role.

Watching this got me hyped for a Battlefield game that doesn't exist, and probably never will.

PS4 has the biggest BF4 playerbase so I'd say yeah.

Honestly, I don't see anything wrong with prestige thingy, actually I like it, as it gives higher initiative to continue playing when you have unlocked everything.
And don't come up with "Oh, just play for fun".... Fudge you! I want my carrot on a stick!

It's a cheap way of getting you to carry on playing the game though, extending your playtime by resetting your unlocks and level.

Bought BF4 Premium and ho boy look at all the fun assignments holy fuck
I snuck up behind four enemies behind a statue.
One got a bullet straight into head, emptied magazine in another one.
Third one tried to escape so I quickly whipped out my pistol and managed to kill him without aiming down.
The fourth one decided to play smart and went around the statue, trying to stab me. I heard him, turned around and stabbed him instead.
He could've counter-stabbed me but didn't, for some reason.
I reached for my Shadowplay record button and... the game crashed.

That reminds me of the time where I snuck up against 4 guys at the tower beside you.
Managed to gun 3 of them down, but the last guy, a Recon, tried to escape via jumping down.
I ran up to his ass and managed to stab him at the very edge. Like, during the animation, the guy was floating across the edge. I then realized that that knife kill was the kill that saved the game, around 4-0 tickets.
After that, the entire server went 'gg/lol/wow' and nobody got angry because the match was balanced and there were no bullshit moments as far as I was aware.
I really wish more servers were like that.

Wanted to play couple of rounds of BF4, yet only playable server (read: not 64p metro/locker) that has any players on also has a cheater.
I haven't seen any in AGES, but it has to be now, when all I wanted is to play one or two rounds and be done. Now I feel hunger for BF4 and can't fulfill it!!!
If they're gonna do a 2143, then I hope they'll make the gun animations a bit more fluid or whatever the word is since they can't just copy paste the same weapons + models like how they did with BF3 to BF4. Don't get me wrong, I love the current animations as they combine realism with style quite well, but comparing Retail BF3's animations to the Alpha, especially the knife takedowns and a few weapons makes me want to have one or two 'Hollywood-style' animations just for variety's sake.
That, and I want my soldier to finger around with my 870 while idle.
20 dollar BF4 premium ends in 12 hours, plus 25 dollar premium edition if you don't have the PC version yet.
My new favourite activity in bf4 is to put on some vietnam-era music, flying into the battlefield in a huey equipped with the m60, 1911 and some claymores and watch my team disembark
getting instamurdered by a nearby t90 adds to the experience of course

FYI, the Premium Edition is on sale for 9 more hours.
I've been doing the L85A2 community mission and the gun feels like I'm cheating in the game. It's so accurate and deadly.
Please, lets take a moment to be thankful that "Assist Counts As Kill" exists.
Man, I hope the next BF would add in persistent scores that keep track of your score when you lose connection to a server. I don't have the best internet right now and being kicked for a split-second 400 ping spike while on a 20~ streak with the L86 really fucking sucks.
Derp, you still actually keep all your score and stats, you just have to wait for the match to end and it will pop up in your battlelog progress/game reports. Just don't rejoin the same server.
Nah, it's not that, I meant something like this:
Before disconnect/crash:
27 kills, 11 deaths, 8000~ points
After disconnect/crash and rejoining the same server:
Same stats, with +1 death.
Right now, rejoining the server just straight away wipes out the progress you made before disconnecting and it kinda sucks. iirc CoD did this and it worked fine and I'm sure BF4 can do the same with maybe a few tweaks here and there.

Yeah, it's p damn good, atleast for me.
Just be sure to stand still when taking distant shots as iirc bullpups have worse ADS moving spread. At CQC, move around as bullpups also have faster ADS moving speed and unless you just recovered from jumping, the extra spread won't really affect you much in CQC.
