For Battlefield 4 stuttering, should I get more memory or better vram graphics card? I get 40+fps on most maxed and get stutters about a minute in, intensifying.

MP or Singleplayer? MP could just be the game being weird.
I can rock a solid 60 in singleplayer but get stuttering in multiplayer. Mainly on maps with water in them.

Both, during gametime It was smooth at first then stuttered a little bit. Then just became horrible. Battlefront was a little better, but still bad on Hoth.
post your specs, please
If you get stuttering on MP it's probably the CPU that's lacking.

But yeah post your specs first.

i have a computer that is essentially way above the recommended specs in terms of cpu, ram and video card requirements and my game was still riddled with microstutter. a lot of people say it's cpu/video bottlenecking, but the truth is it could be your hard drive. if your hard drive doesn't spin fast enough you get unplayable amounts of microstutter in just after a few minutes. i migrated my game over to a higher speed sata disk drive and it runs infinitely better than it did on the one I had it installed to prior
jus a quik hijak:

I have an AMD 8320 cpu and a GTX780 and BF4 can run on max easy at 60fps/1080p.
However, LOW settings uses your CPU more. So if you have a beefier GPU, put the settings on ultra. DICE confirmed a long time ago that the game uses more of the CPU at lower settings. For some stupid reason. If you are still having problems with your CPU, go to settings and adjust the slider bar for processing power (I forget the actual name) but it goes to 0%-200%, default is 100%, try 50-75. It will make the game look worse, but be better on your CPU.
Although, in games like Witcher 3 and even Skyrim with mods, my CPU can barely handle it.
I am saving up a little bit of cash for the new i5 6600k (skylake), 1151 motherboards, new DDR4 memory, and a new 250gb M2 PCIE drive. Can't wait to make the transition from AMD to Intel cpus, so much better in gaming.
processing power?
" Resolution Scalin" i guess
Blackout will be included in the same download as the base game update, and everyone can expect to find new maps, guns, and gadgets (in addition to a host of improvements). This new content is organized under a central theme: the cloak of darkness. What happens when the lights go out, and criminal and police factions are forced to face off under the slimmest sliver of light? Find out yourself, with:
Two maps: Night Job and Night Woods (night versions of Bank Job and Backwoods)
1 new gadget: Night Vision Goggles
2 new weapons for all classes and factions: a new version of the RO933 and a new Battle Rifle
New music, camos, assignments, patches, and more
Well, i think ill just stick to BF4 even if that DLC is free. I don't even have hardline installed. And i don't i will install it again.
If only they added more gadgets, like in BF2: Special Forces.
[editline]23rd October 2015[/editline]
Regarding that Hardline DLC.
Ill definitely give Hardline another go if ALL of the DLC ends up being free.

Nice to know that they're screwing over the people that bought premium by giving some free dlc before they've even released the second dlc for premium

third*? They've released two DLCs, Criminal Activity and Robbery. It was a huge waste of money since all CA and Robbery servers are fucking deserted

EA presents their logic, DLC is a most.

That's what happens in Battlefield. For every other game it's "Oh man, there are so many DLC maps. No one plays the vanilla maps any more." but for Battlefield it's "Oh man, there are so many DLC maps. No one is playing the DLC maps."
I got BF4 recently (25 hrs on multiplayer already heh), is the singleplayer campaign even worth playing? What's it like compared to BF3's?

Do it to get the M249/p90/that other gun.

Yep :\ I still have the guns + attachments I guess but the deserted DLC maps are really annoying. You don't buy something and think 'I'm trusting thousands of other people to also buy this or else this is pointless'..

Imo they really need to drop Premium's price, or at least the standalone DLC. Premium for £39.99 is a pisstake considering the game costs less than that

Play the SP and get the rewards. Then never touch it again.

That's exactly what I am doing currently. I was playing the third campaign mission and I had to stop because I was so bored playing it.

Quick flank with c4 and shotty on metro. Older clip (last month) but I never put it in a video.
13 kills in about 30 seconds.

The campaign is complete garbage and extremely buggy, but you can't have the P90, M249 and QBZ any other way. Oh and the best part? You gotta do the last mission 3 times to unlock the guns, since you have a choice to make at the end.
I think I'm falling for the FAMAS

Really? Son of a bitch. Is it at least half-decently entertaining?
