Buff in tanks, nerf in C4 and RPGs.
DICE = tank whores, confirmed.
By the way, try the XM25 again. They buffed it so you refill a whole magazine every 7 seconds now instead of one shell at a time. It's pretty great.
IMO, it was only semi auto shotguns that really bothered me, pump actions were fine and I used the 870 myself. It's a nice rewarding weapon.

Getting blow the fuck out by auto shotties pisses me off to no end, and don't even get me started on frag rounds.
I'm glad that the shotguns are nerfed.
I dodged death several times already.
Oh lord, M1014 with fragrounds, laser and flir is so much fun in random TDM or even infi only CQ games. It creates salt unlike anything I've seen
eh shotties seem to be the same to me
also hot damn, Phantom is bloody fun, but fuck Defensive perk users, they should just remove that shit already as its removal from the game will be an objectively good change for the game

DEFENSIVE PERK USERS WILL NEVER BE SAFE FROM MY 200 BULLET TYPE88
Bipod + hill = a rain of firey death
guy snatches my tank while I'm repairing
I call him a prick
I get kicked
:)
Like the new c4 nerf but it should disable the vehicle
How can you like to wait longer for your 3 C4's to replenish than a mortar does...
What really burns my ass
>lay down c4 to get a kill
>click lmb to blow up c4
>people start shooting you
>you die while activating the c4 plunger and it makes that audible "beep!" sound
>c4 doesn't blow up
Same thing with dying while throwing a grenade. It should drop live at your feet
Man, I reinstalled today to see if maybe the game would run better than before. Sadly it still crashed 3 times but I was able to play for a bit. Gotta say, when everything works the game is a lot of fun, even on the lowest options :v:
Jmir, edit your post. "Memearrows" can get you banned, check my history :'(

I've been spending too much time on /fit/. Ill just leave it be for now.
Again, if they wanted to reduce the effectiveness of C4 (despite being 100% balanced in the first place), they should've atleast kept the resupply times or even just keep 2 C4 sticks per tank while giving it the current resupply.
Hell, I wouldn't even mind if they even halved the effectiveness of C4 vs infantry just to reduce spam and elevator camping. C4 vs vehicles was fine and the lack of whiners sans the noisy tank whores was evidence of that.
That HE shell buff finally convinced me to adopt Strawberry's close range tank loadout. It's pretty handy for popping people on the new map.
Still mad about C4 changes, playing Insurgency currently in retaliation.
Kinda a dumb choice to nerf C4 I think, it was damn near suicidal to get close enough to a tank to use it unless the driver was horrible. I really don't see the point, considering it's a big buff to tanks that they don't really need, considering you have to be really dumb to die to launchers in a tank.
Guess I'll just spam tank mines as best I can to keep tankspergs in place, I suppose.
I hope that new possible Phantom area is actually used for something
HE + thermals in tanks is mad effective on foresty jungle maps

Well, glad one of my tips could be finally of use.
I think one of the things I appreciate more from this patch is the new Active Protection. It's much more balanced now.
Unfortunately it still trumps everything else.
What tank setup is best now?
The ammo type depends, HE against infantry, AP for a balance between infantry and anti-tank effectiveness and sabot for long-range anti-tank power.
For the rest I always go canister shell for that OHK anti-infantry power, very useful against peeking engineers, active protection because duh, thermal optics because you want to see those mines and quickly scan for infantry and vehicles, finally reactive armor because an immobilized tank is a dead tank.
How about sens? Are the tanks as snappy as they were in BF3?
Still pretty snappy. I think there's a max rotation limit but I haven't hit hit. Pretty high sens.
Took one for the team. There was a guy (Brooklyn something) camping in the spawn with a Mod 0, equipped with target detector, acog, HB and bipod, who was running support class with UCAV, going 34 in 3 when i joined. He ended with 60 in 16, most of his deaths being my headshots. He even said "shadey nice autoaim. hack on?" Lol, nerds like this are a pest.

This video is dedicated to my favorite Facepunch lurker Advancedlumb aka advancedlamb aka gummylamb.
Videos like these make me happy that i'm not such a moany bitch anymore like I was in bf3, it makes for a better experience.
