The lack of any reason is what bothered me more than anything
Those disconnections reminds me of Wolfenstein Enemy Territory. If you're too good. KICK... eventually BAN.
Badmins suck, I have been kicked/banned from quite a few servers.
My friend and I tried playing rush yeah.. sniper galore
He's playing Support, so I can guess they're on a morter, with you on the mav?
yep hella effective with me destroying any mortars on the mav, aswell as sniping enemy mavs with my own that's the tactic that got me kicked, except when I got kicked two other guys joined in on the fun
I hate how stupidly powerful vehicles are. Rockets don't do shit for damage, and C4's been nerfed to all hell.
I've been hitting a lot more Helicopters with dumb-rockets lately. It feels really good, it seems that the SMAW does more knockback or something to Heli's, as a Stinger just does a bit of damage and a Mobility kill (whatever that is), while hitting a SMAW knocks Heli's about like nobodies business.
Mobility kill : hitting for more than a certain damage treshold, thus completely disabling the vehicle (can't drive / fly) iirc
A mobility kill on a land vehicle disables its tracks/wheels, on an air vehicle it kills the rear rotor and most of the power of the main rotor, causing it to spin and fall; fixes itself after a few seconds I think? Also I'm fine with vehicles being more powerful, a single infantryman doesn't need to be able to fuck up everything on the battlefield.

I feel like vehicles were an even bigger threat in BF3, so BF4 feels pretty ok

Small Ammo Packs provides ammo at much faster rate. It isn't a big nerf If you use SMALL equipment. Edit: When did they fix on Training Mission Squad perks!?

How much of a time difference is it then??? 3 seconds, 6????
How much of a time difference is it then??? 3 seconds, 6????
I'm uploading a video. Edit: It works like this. If you throw 2 small ammo packs right away and you step into "resupply area". You should get TWO C4 in time of ONE.
Oh so with the field upgrade of being able to throw down 3 small ones you get 3 C4 in 8 sec!? Damn
Oh so with the field upgrade of being able to throw down 3 small ones you get 3 C4 in 8 sec!? Damn
Yep. The only disadvantage I see is that you need to HOLD C4 in your hand to resupply it first. Video will be up soon. 1 big ammo pack vs 2 small ammo packs no sound :/ [editline]8th November 2015[/editline] Video is up.
Interesting indeed.
Interesting indeed.
Welcome back, I missed ya mate

I feel the mobility kills on Heli's are more noticeable than on Ground Vehicles, where I only really notice if I've disabled it.
how do I actually contact EA about issues with my accounts security if no one even bothered to answer me on the, uh, "community driven" support forum lmao

God, they really need to fix the vehicle balancing. Being able to have 3-4 tanks + AA and Attack helos all shooting at you at once is not fun. 90% of the maps with armor in this game devolve to "Whoever wins the first armor fight wins the round." It's one thing when a lone engineer can't do anything against a tank, but it's another when you have 3 rockets firing on armor from all directions and they barely get dinked at all.
There just needs to be less armor overall in all the vanilla and early maps. The more recent DLC figured out that more armor isn't better and there's at most 2 armored vehicles per side in everything except gigantic maps.

I still feel like armour would be balanced a bit by having the turn speed of the turret(main gun not the machine gun) capped.
I still feel like armour would be balanced a bit by having the turn speed of the turret(main gun not the machine gun) capped.
That's how it was in the CTE when they updated all the turret code to make it work with a variable update rate. The more anti-armor focused something was, the slower the turret turned. People complained a lot about how bad it felt with a mouse/keyboard though so now we're back to the really high (but still capped) turret turn rates. [editline]9th November 2015[/editline] I vaguely remember this topic discussing it and hating the idea as well. [editline]9th November 2015[/editline] I got really lucky clicking backwards through the pages and found when it was talked about. Nobody here really had any opinions other than "wait and see." However the response it got on the CTE subreddit, which DICE LA frequents, was overwhelmingly negative. - Play some bomb gamemode I'm not familiar with - Get into the AA and know how to use it - NOT camping spawn or whatever - "stop AA camping skrub" Ok
I play without the chat box. "H" to hide it because cancer.
It got even worse the next round. Golmud on russian team. Some guy kept spamming his jet at me in a straight line and when I killed him before he could jihad me "nice aim assist fucking feg" I mean, come on. A person can be mentally unstable, but how much of a retard do you have to be to do that and not think to yourself "well wow maybe i should not try flying in a straight line".
