I just realized that BF4's got over 80 different infantry weapons.
Jesus fucking Christ.

I think total amount of weapons is 200. Grenades , knifes , pistols , launchers , rifles , shotguns , DRM , LMG , sniper rifles.
Yeah. It's quite crazy. I don't want them to downgrade the amount of weapons because community said so.
Edit: Battlefield Hardline is a good and bad example of having "less" weapons.
In BF4 , of course there are several weapons with exactly same stats... but It doesn't matter. It still another thing to master.
BF4 lacks some ''old'' Soviet-weaponry you had in earlier BF games tough. Sure you have the RPK and SKS, but where is my old AK74 or dragunov. Instead we only have ultramodern/tactical AK variants and the tacticool SVD-12. Oldskool NATO weaponry is sufficient tough.
Also, it bothers me that the F2000 is for some reason the only assault rifle which you can't attach a grenade launcher to. It's a modular weapons system in real life, meant to be easily modifiable.

the hand grip should also come off for adding grips, bipods etc instead of that horrifically ugly rail they stuck on the end, it looks awful
Never understood why they didnt use this foregrip for the F2000

always thought it looked so much better and was more practical with it

What am I looking at? Because your excitement for this intrigues me. I know nothing of the camos since I rarely even go through the menus except to take the "new" marker off.

I pretty much stick with the Type 88 LMG and the M416 exclusively. They just seem to work the best for me for whatever reason.
I'm currently sticking with the AN-94 on my assault, it's a damn good rifle for mid-long range supporting of allies, and I prefer it to the Supports LMGs, of which I don't like any. Damn shame, that's the class I thought I'd play the most.
Am I stupid for using the AK12 over the SCAR-H, AN-94, and Hk416 I've locked up so far?
It seems good enough for me, both in close to mid distance fights with the irons, and longer with the acog.
Using ACOG, canted sights, and magpul AFG.
It used to get a bonus to its burst RoF (as it should be) but they have removed it for some reason
It's been awhile playing this game.
I decided to play it with an xbox controller. The results aren't really good. :v:
Yeah came back since not playing maybe early last year and wow have they improved the game!
Everything feels a lot tighter and responsive and less like a laggy videogame.
Well done Dice!

So much fun :^)

I liked the AN-94 as well but the rate of fire was too slow for close range combat, pair that with only the option to fire 30 rounds it's not my kind of weapon. Oddly enough the Famas won out in most close range engagements in my opinion, unfortunately the small magazine size really limits you to maybe two kills per mag. Not very good when you're trying to flush out a tight grouping of enemies. The Type 88 LMG has a slow rate of fire but it more than makes up for it with the damage it deals out. With a laser attachment I can take out whole squads while firing from my hip with the element of surprise. My favorite would still be the M416 though. It has a comfortable rate of fire while also being an accurate and fairly powerful weapon. I can quickly maneuver about, especially when my combat medic perk is filled all the way. I can keep my squad alive all while being extremely combat effective. That's why I love Operation Locker because it's like the perfect map to play on with my loadouts.

AN-94 burst fire is way faster than automatic.
AN-94 burst fire is way faster than automatic.
Thrice as fast, indeed. Normal RPM is 600, burst fire is 1800.
pretty

Going ham with the M249. It's a good gun, probably my favorite LMG. It's a pre-fire monster.

the only camos I use on guns are the flat ones since the patterns look pretty bad, so getting an automatically changing flat camo for every weapon is great
Hello
Is there any hopes for the PC hardline community to come back?
Cause you know,I'm one of these dumbass who bought the premium and I'd like to play the DLCs
does anyone want to help me grind for the UCAV? :(

the AWS with FLIR sights, angled grip and heavy barrel is still my favorite seal club LMG

Join a full air superiority server with jets ( 24 players ). Gang up on enemies with your teammates and just use your basic heat seaking rockets, you'll get lucky a few times every game and will probably get 1-2 ribbons per game. You'll have your useless UCAV within one hour.

I believe I just unlocked the M416 so I'll have to check it out. There's so many guns and attachments that it becomes hard to keep up with everything, I think the reason I stick with one weapon is because I only look at its stats, and if I see lower stats in anything I think "Why bother?" Even when I'm fairly certain the stats are bullshit.
the only camos I use on guns are the flat ones since the patterns look pretty bad, so getting an automatically changing flat camo for every weapon is great
I don't know if that changed but the adaptive camos used to be pretty broken and wouldn't change between maps.
I used to run forest hexagon on everything as it stood out but not too much. Now I run the more subtle spray urban on all my guns and vehicles.
[editline]13th January 2016[/editline]
Also thanks to that battlepack glitch from a year ago I have every single camo available to me.
Ink Blotch is the coolest camo.
[editline]13th January 2016[/editline]
After the DICE camo.

The battlelog stats are broken / flat out wrong most of the time
The M416 is pretty much the "Generic Assault Rifle" of Battlefield 4 (much like the M16A3 was BF3's).
It has a good RoF (around 750), pretty good accuracy, not too bad overall.

I wish the M249 had this stock instead :

I would love it even more. For some reason the MG4, despite being pretty much identical, just doesn't do the trick

Oh shit, I'll have to check that out. I never checked the burst fire mode :v:
