I was the same in standard for a long time. heck mybscores is still less than like est top 15

thing with mania is I played it like crazy when I was saller and it was called o2jam
so in OSU mania I started off at like 1100 pp level songs prolly

you can have and accuracy of 95% but only a score of 650,000/1,000,000 due to mania's dumb scoring system (standard's is even more dumb but ~~)
you can also have an accuracy of 90% but a score of 800,000/1,000,000
80% usually hovers around 500,000->600,000 but can dip down into 450,000 territory

the only way to get an SS on a mania map is if the map is extremely way too easy for you

ecksdee also used to play o2jam before he played mania, so it's not like his playcount in mania means anything.

couple that with the fact that DT doesn't give any PP, combined with harder songs give more PP the better you do on them, it's highly likely that the lower level estonians just S/SS easy songs instead of getting S/A on harder songs

Has anyone here ever used a wii guitar controller with phase shift or just on their PC in general? I need to buy a bluetooth dongle for it but I'm not sure what one to get or if it even matters...

Not exactly a rhythm game (it's not music based) but One Finger Death Punch is worth checking out. It's piss cheap on xbox (it's part of the indie program, and the devs have shit out a LOT of shovelware) as in like 1 dollar, it's a bit more expensive on PC ($5), but it's insanely good.

Waiting all morning and I finally got a tablet to play osu on :D

It's the Huion 420 (the exact same as the official osu tablet but in black) and it is great. Oddly I am almost used to it already, I make some mistakes I wouldn't make on a mouse but I also hit loads that I would have missed so it's going well considering it's been only a few hours.

How long did it take you guys to transition from mouse to tablet if you have done?

What I also find weird is that at first it was hard but after changing the settings to only map to a small section of the already small tablet, I was golden. Meh, whatever floats my boat I suppose.

Doubt someone would cheat for a top 50 on an easy, and the hexagon is probably just because the replay data isn't 100% accurate to the actual players movement. Some people just spin fast.

I got a stupid little easy diff top 50 on [url=http://osu.ppy.sh/b/184268]this[/url] mapset. You can see people using the same mods above me and they don't even have 100% accuracy. People just spin mad fast.

Oh, and on [url=http://osu.ppy.sh/b/192765]this[/url] normal, that's an example of me beating people who SS'd it because I spun faster then them, and that made up for my 2 100s.

It's a really stupid mechanic.

After what feels like hundreds of songs that I got mainly B's sometimes C's on Hard difficulties I finally got an A, and it's a pretty poor one but I'll take it.

And about the ranking you are definitely right, I get so much PP going for HD HR DT Easy SS's than I do at anything else (though I haven't dared play any insane's yet, baby steps baby steps...)

Having experimented more with it, and looking at this thread, it seems to value your scores the most.
So for example, you'll have a stable pp increase if you start playing easy songs. Then trying to play normals, and being bad at them will result in no pp at all, even if you're ok at them.
Then once you get okay at normals, and even mod them, your pp will start having a stable increase again, and it keeps on going like this with every difficulty.

So basicly, just passing an insane with a low score will give you worth shit.

Or atleast that's how I'm guessing it works. Given that modding easy or normals or beating certain hards with a B does not give me pp anymore when it used to. Yet getting a B or higher on an insane results in a PP boost from 4 to 10 points.

Given that all the times I gained no pp on an insane I had a low score, and the score is low on the video and screenshot posted, my guess might be correct.
That's as far as I can think up though, since multi-accounting is banworthy I can't really create a 2nd account to test this idea.

I bet all of this is wrong. But I can't really figure out how else it might work especially without any documentation for it.
