after spending a while google translating a skin's comments i think i finally figured out how to skin LR2
and my first step was actually making all of the notes/LNs the same size instead of variable width.
which involved editing skinframes, drop points, the images of the notes/lns, the flash sprite for keys, and all of their dimensions!!

srsly this is both an amazing and terrible skinning system that uses [i]CSV[/i]

i also switched to ruv-it instead of LR2; it's much better!
i even mostly learned how to read variable-width notes + colors!! and it still works with all of the songs i have although it has pretty poor support for subfolders of subfolders of songs so i had to move them all to the base directory.
although i'm slowly skinning it to look not as bad because all default skins in every rhythm game are pretty mediocre for some reason why is that?? ruv-it's default skin actually looks pretty decent by default though it just can be better.

i still don't know where that stuttering came from. it even happens in dxtory so i assume it has something to do with my HDD. it really sucks

i already have a PS2, so i could probably find a cheap copy of DJ hero 1 somewhere, although i'm not sure how easy it would be to find a working copy of the turntable

i've been meaning to buy a PS3 so i could play various jrpgs so maybe one of these days i'll get one i'll have to see if there's any used deals at the shop nearby me

would save me a lot of trouble if people would just release games/controllers for the PC though!!

dj hero is pretty fun but i found it hard to play because the controller is kind of clunky
