Damn I was watching some mania players earlier (f1rstlove and ideu-). They both livestreamed and I had no clue what was happening at all but it looked fun. I always get this feeling watching key style games.

i sometimes alternate spacebar jackhammers out of necessity but other than that no.

wouldn't it be faster to just hover the activation point than use two fingers on the spacebar?
trying to get both fingers to cooperate on activating a single point seems more work than it's worth
yea i kind of assumed. it's probably not that hard tbh although the higher up you get the more likely you'll see triples/quads all of the time so it becomes impossible :(
although i DID do a few songs one-handed when i was testing out my fightstick. somehow my hand was just large enough to hit all 8 keys simultaneously on that thing!

I finally manage to finish a lengthy, incredibly difficult for me Insane map and I don't even get a single pp for it
later I FC some random Hard map I just downloaded, a massive step down from the AR9 stream-filled nightmare from before, and I get a whopping 10pp
this is pretty demotivating, honestly

Here's a list of some of the maps removed (the most note worthy ones imo). There's at least one map here that'll make anyone who plays osu! a fair amount cry.

holy fuck that is a lot of really good maps gone, i've seen some uploads floating around of .zips with all the removed maps, so they're still out there (also still on bloodcat), but it's a shame they're gone 'officially'

If they have, how the hell do you pass the photographer hidden in bushes and the girl running through the ice ones? All I can find are videos of people doing it right (which doesn't really help). What keys do you press when?

ive played it, for the first its a single button so just try the usualy ones, should be z or x or space, you gotta timeit to pose when the photo is taken

Okay so there's this BMS that has randomly changing backgrounds
it was originally in BOF2012, and then a remade version was done for BOF2013
so my train of thought was "if the backgrounds are random, why not make the notes random as well??"; so i turned on the "panic" mod in ruv-it

panic mod is basically "random 7ms jackhammers" mod??
it's kind of cool though because i've always wanted to get better at jackhammers but i didn't really have any maps that have a ton of them, and the ones that I do have are just endless turntable spam (which totally wreks my pinky!).
thankfully because it shuffles the notes around constantly i can play the same map infinitely without hitting everything by memory which is a cool bonus
