Concerning rhythm games, has anyone here played Sequence, now known as "Before the Echo"? It's kind of a rhythm RPG where you have different "fields" to play the song in, with a "Defence" field where matching the arrows means you avoid damage from the opponent, a "Mana" field where you gain energy for each arrow you match, and the "Spell" field where you cast said spells in a rhythm sequence and have to match all arrows in that sequence to activate the spell.

I enjoyed it back in the day, combining rhythm mechanics with RPG-style combat, something I didn't know that I wanted until I fired the bad boy up and started jamming to the tracks. I should fire it up again, get back into the rhythm.

Touchscreen is only useful for tag4, which is pointless since they unranked the tag4 maps.

Most of the top players use graphics tablets, apart from like Angelsim and Doomsday who use mice. Really though using a mouse is fine.

Mouse works perfectly fine, I promise you that you won't experience a peripheral disadvantage. If you have a mech kb then you're set for life in osu!. As mentioned a fair few pro players use mouse (spro, doomsday, angelism, cptnxn and others). Message me on the osu! forums if you need anything (I check there more often and I don't spend much time online atm as I have exams). I can help you out with pretty much anything osu! related.

I'm not sure if anyone can tell but I scour this thread for osu! related posts. I kinda hope FPers will eventually start hosting osu! lobbies again.
