i'm declining in performance and rank, and it's very evident whenever i play. what do?
get better
get better
i'm trying, but i always end up getting an even worse score compared to the last attempt.
i'm trying, but i always end up getting an even worse score compared to the last attempt.
relax don't think about scores when playing don't think about doing better than last time just focus on what you're doing at that very moment [editline]20th November 2015[/editline] which is simply playing the game
Stop caring
osu isn't fun when i perform like shit. actually, i don't even know if osu is fun.
osu isn't fun when i perform like shit. actually, i don't even know if osu is fun.
If this is your mindset then it isn't. What even is "performing like shit" for you? I have fun in osu! when I get to enjoy some beats to some nice maps on some nice songs. Just the odd miss here or there doesn't bother me, nor should it bother you, unless you're actually playing for ranks, which is kinda silly to do for 99% of your osu! career.

Since osu! is such a combo-based game you could have a 5 mil score at 99% accuracy that's outdone by a 12 mil score at 95% accuracy. Don't bother with scores and shit like that, looking at your posts I presume you started just recently. It's waaaaayyyy too early for you to be worrying about actual metrics this much.
you have off-days gotta get used to that
you have off-days gotta get used to that
off-days? you mean school-related off days?
days you just do bad and feel like u dont get anywhere osu is retarded for its scoring because its combo based
osu is retarded
it feels nice to go back to old beatmaps that you thought were really hard. i went back to my love normal and got an S on it, and wondered, "how in the world did i ever autofail this? how did i find this hard? this is so easy." LOOK at those FEW TINY ASS PIXELS at the end there is a god
are you bipolar or something
That's what happens to my rank when I suddenly get better. [editline]21st November 2015[/editline]
are you bipolar or something
no but osu can affect mood a lot and MY OH MY I AM THE OSU GOD [T]http://i.imgur.com/6blFo4y.jpg[/T] edit: nvm 5 hours later and i'm feeling really demotivated again
no but osu can affect mood a lot and MY OH MY I AM THE OSU GOD [T]http://i.imgur.com/6blFo4y.jpg[/T] edit: nvm 5 hours later and i'm feeling really demotivated again
aaaaa maybe try not play music that sounds like someones being slowly eaten alive by an industrial grinder and try not to play the game for 5 hoursstraight god damn you get better the more you play it, sure, that's how stuff in life works. There's no pressure on you whatsoever - I, myself, play like twice, 3 times a week, whenever I feel like. I have no goal other than trying to do tracks I am capable of doing more flawlessly, and try a harder track once in a while. Or bug my guide Orkel-senpai for more tracks (usually I end up with beautiful beatmaps such as this so uhh) When I'm doing badly for some reason, I just try a different track, or tracks I feel that I can reliably do, and if I'm still doing badly, then no osu for me for that day. This applies to pretty much every video game ever - CS, WoT, mobas, whoa i don't really know that many "competetive" games When I first started playing, I thought upper 2-stars were borderline impossible. Could hardly finish a track, let alone with a proper grade. Now I'm finding 3-stars too easy, and that's after like, 4-month long break. Can't really do any 4-star reliably yet tho. Honestly, this isn't a full blown-out competetive game. You aren't going to get an online-play anxiety, you play for your own fun and to prove to yourself that your fine motor skills are actually improving. There's literally no pressure whatsoever, everyone sucked at some point. All you need to do is find out the best way for you to play, see what kind of errors you're making (use the replay feature, some beats might feel "off" and you can just slow down your replays to see how you're failing that part). One of the best places to start improving your gameplay is to use a custom skin - it's easy to make one but I can up mine which removes the 300 score mark, so the only marks that appears are only there to show you where you're failing. Also, replaces the anime girl with an annoying dog [editline]22nd November 2015[/editline] mad improvements [editline]22nd November 2015[/editline] tbh the part where i can almost almost do a 5 star but i can barely survive first 10 seconds of any 4 star make me wonder how does this rating system even work heck there are some 3 stars i can't even look at and a 2star that just sits there with a single S
aaaaa maybe try not play music that sounds like someones being slowly eaten alive by an industrial grinder
now that's just rude
Thats all osu has
aaaaa maybe try not play music that sounds like someones being slowly eaten alive by an industrial grinder and try not to play the game for 5 hoursstraight god damn
thanks for the whole response m8 but what are you on about? why shouldn't i play osu that long? and hatsune miku is the musical god. her songs are like sex and don't sound like "someone being slowly eaten alive by an industrial grinder."
Gumi > all other vocaloids are shit, tbh. But best vocaloid songs are the ones without singing anyway.
I'm sorry but the only -loid worth mentioning is Kasane Teto because she isn't used by every dicklord and his mom who has no concept of musical theory or what doesn't burn your fucking ears like 90% of every other vocaloid's songs
both of you have really shit taste (music and anime wise). hatsune will always be the best. srsly, look at this shit about osu: should i get a mechanical keyboard for osu? of course, i know it won't automatically make me a god, but is it much more recommended?

[editline]22nd November 2015[/editline] I honestly don't know if you are being sarcastic or serious at this point, but it doesn't matter. For example this song:
