Cyberpunk - New RPG from CD Projekt Red - Games

I know I really should know better, but I'm gonna preorder the shit out of that game when it's available.

Another video coming tomorrow from Mike Pondsmith hopefully giving us more info. In other news the teaser vid has hit 2 million views on youtube already. Glad something cyberpunk is finally get this much recognition and coverage.

On the topic of Cyberpunk am I the only one who was a bit mad at Blade Runner? Yes I loved the movie, but the book was very different. If I was Philip K. Dick I would've been pissed. A lot of important aspects of the book were just completely removed.

You simply can't fit as much into a movie as you can in a novel. Besides, it's only "loosely based on" the novel, they don't even have the same name.

Regret not reading it, as I fear it has been lost to time.

I think they republished it as "Blade Runner" instead of "Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep" to promote the movie.

Dick was completely blown away and pretty much started saying "How did you do this, this is how it was in my head the whole time" to Ridley and the rest as soon as the screening finished. IMO there was a lot you could figure out just by taking note of the environment and little details.

Made me laugh how Rutger Hauer described Deckards character in 4/6.

This sounds really interesting and I'll have to watch it one day. I never knew a lot about reactions and stuff relating to the movie.
