Right now I honestly don't find the game very challenging unlike how I could easily get my ass kicked in EU IV.
Can someone explain to me how this AI is able to warp out of my system in 3 seconds flat, despite being in the middle of 2 inhibiting platforms??
Wormhole travel is the best form of travel tbh
Yeah. If you time your wormhole travel just right when attacking someone using the 1st travel type, you can actually kill them before their movement cooldown is finished.
What difficulty are you playing on?
Hard
Does anybody have any tips fighting the Unbidden while my entire fleet is 10k understrength to one of theirs? No? Ok...

I have a sneaking suspicion there's some separatists among my empire... [t]http://i.imgur.com/JDz00dA.png[/t]

Shall we organise a game of Stellaris sometime? I'm going to try and figure the game out in single player first
I do think the change should be made that you retain control of space even after you've purged a planet with no frontier station, that screwed over my friend But knowing Paradox it'll come in a £20 DLC :/
Anyone playing molluscoid ships that can take a pic of a destroyer, cruiser, and battleship?

However, I feel like there should be consequences for other empires to do anything with it. Like "This planet is vacant, but claimed. Colonizing here could have consequences..." or something along those lines. EDIT: I just realized that mining/research stations don't follow this rule so I chalk it up to "game mechanics > logic" type of thinking.
Anyone playing molluscoid ships that can take a pic of a destroyer, cruiser, and battleship?
Should be better preview of the ships, i wonder what they all look like. (all types)
Anyone playing molluscoid ships that can take a pic of a destroyer, cruiser, and battleship?
Well, you have different hull sections you can choose going all the way up to 4 for battleships, and they all look different, so it'd be quite a task to get a screenshot of every combination of hull section and weapon for 5 different styles of ship

I got it, anyway.

What're peoples' favorite FTL methods? Agree for warp, heart for hyperlanes, artistic for wormhole.
What're peoples' favorite FTL methods? Agree for warp, heart for hyperlanes, artistic for wormhole.
Wormholes get pretty interesting a bit later-game [t]http://afromana.com/281990_20160512223411_1.png[/t]
I wish AI or synth leaders were a thing, along with more options to extend the lifespan of your species. It doesn't feel right to me that people die at age 70 in a space empire capable of terraforming planets. My leaders never accrue any interesting traits, it's a bummer.
Synths (Sentient AIs), once researched and constructed, can definitely become leaders in your empire. If you don't give them such rights, they just might get mad at you... With additional research you can unlock genetic modification for your species and add either of the age increasing traits, depending on how many trait points you have.
[t]http://i.imgur.com/jdsZRCs.jpg[/t]
Tell my wife... "Hello."
I need to find EvE Online's sound effects so I can start replacing Stellaris'

Genetic engineering comes in pretty late and i don't know how the trait thing plays into that, as of now it's too expensive for me. But i did have the population on a far-off colony modify themselves for better habitability, they also gave themselves the venerable trait so that's cool, i guess. Though it's not exactly a replacement for my original species since they no longer have research affinity.

Ah shit, just my luck the for the space crabs to invade the galaxy right next door to my homeworld and core worlds :( [t]http://i.imgur.com/VuujDlt.png[/t] [editline]a[/editline] They spread pretty fuckin' fast. [t]http://i.imgur.com/lWTdUof.png[/t] [t]http://i.imgur.com/Cxv0ihy.png[/t]
I don't know if it's a bug or what, but for whatever reason being more powerful than your vassals makes them hate you and become disobedient. I don't think this makes any sense so I made a simple mod that reverses the relative power of subjects value. I don't know how balanced it is, but at least they will properly respect your massive fleet now. http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=683277624

Ever wondered how great it is to be fuckhuge? [t]http://i.imgur.com/GKkl8nR.png[/t] For some reason the game didn't spawn any fallen empires. Also I am just sitting here being bored since there is nothing to do anymore. When does the endgame start? [t]http://i.imgur.com/wDqzRue.png[/t] Almost a century has passed since I first formed the Glorious League. Together, we are stronger than any other empire or alliance in the galaxy. [t]http://i.imgur.com/u6hQSgl.png[/t] Hell, even some of my sectors are stronger than most empires. [t]http://i.imgur.com/hsX8P81.png[/t] Being xenophilies, we are proud to include other races as members of our empire. Once some foreign pops started migrating onto our worlds, we wasted no time in setting them up across the Confederacy. As a result, the worlds that they are adapted to had not gone to waste, and are instead thriving with their kind. [t]http://i.imgur.com/NSLR1mQ.png[/t] If there is one thing that concerns me, it is that we seem to be lead by a living goddess at this point. She won't die and loyalists won't vote for anyone else. Do I force her out for somebody better or do I continue with her and risk her doing some crazy-ass Palpatine shit (if that is even possible, there isn't an analogue to Republican Tradition as of yet it seems) So now I wait and upgrade things as tech flows in... Is this normal for an empire once they get huge? Or am I doing something wrong? [editline]13th May 2016[/editline] [sp]http://i.imgur.com/VaNEjZh.png[/sp] uhhh [editline]13th May 2016[/editline] [sp]http://i.imgur.com/4kssgq6.png At the edge of one of my sectors, no less...[/sp]

I've had allowed android leadership for four or five decades now along with a sizable and growing synth population (not worried about AI rebellion, just got done crushing the unbidden) and there is still no robot leaders for any of the categories.
Also I noticed that you get a relations hit for being genocidal if any of your pops die, including from invasion what the butt
