Having loads of fun with Stellaris, playing as expansionist yet peaceful bird people.
New version of my mod is out, almost tripling the number of events
People also conveniently forget to brag the times it didn't go so well.
I haven't played as many minors yet, but on regular difficulty I've only really lost one game (my first, as France). Rest I've either won pretty decisively or abandoned due to performance issues. I haven't actually gotten the final peace conference even one though, I start getting annoyed at the game speed slowing down massively that I never bother taking Japan / the US.
People also conveniently forget to brag the times it didn't go so well.
I played as Poland, founded my faction, and got rolled up by the Reich. Such is life. My game as Iran with the NF mod for it is going pretty well though. Japan is bogged down in China. France split from the British over the fate of Czechoslovakia and they both got eaten up for their trouble. Poland formed their faction. Meanwhile, I gobbled up Afghanistan and Iraq and Turkey and demanded Syria shortly before the French fell. I was gonna go for the Saudis too but Britain guaranteed them. Then the Soviets invaded Poland, and I realized I was welcome to join the Baltic Alliance! So I did, and the extra southern fronts I opened up have kept the reds from pushing too far into Poland. To make things even better the Axis declared on the commies as well over Romania. I took Stalingrad, realized it was 5am and went to bed.

Decided Hungary was more deserving of Yugoslavia than Yugoslavia. Exiled them to France, their capital is now Paris :v: Also gave all of France's Africa holdings to Fascist Libya, aka Africa Nova
In Crusader Kings 2, what the hell am I supposed to do against Event Spawned troops? The county next to me suddenly got double the numbers for free. I read that if the count died they would go away but the count died and they remained.

They've got 800% my manpower yet it's been 20 years Any reason why? Could it be because I'm in a holy war against infidels?
All you guys need to do to win at HOI 4 is get the artillery-based doctrine, add like 25% artillery to your infantry divisions, maybe a tank or two, too, depending on country size; and then you just wreck face with essentially everything. It's insane.

Combat width is more important than just having doom stack divisions. Game is missing Inf Tanks though, would be way better than using HArm
A fully decked out rocket artillery battalion can easily take on 4 entrenched infantry batallions by itself. Rocket artillery is broken
For any Warhammer fans out there, the Warhammer Fantasy mod for CK2 is on version 13 and it's absolutely massive. This mod has more content than base CK2, all of the DLCs, and whatever Paradox could release in another 5 years time. The effort they've put into it is mind boggling, bigger than the Game of Thrones mod as far as I can tell. The only downsides is that it's so big that it can run like shit, but there's a sub mod that deletes 1/3 of the map (mostly boring shit honestly) to help FPS. And you're going to need most of the DLCs.

The mod is so massive that every time i want to play at x3 speed I feel no difference because my CPU can't handle it :v:
Does the $40 CKII collection include every DLC? I can't find several on the list.
[t]http://i.imgur.com/UDVRY13.png[/t] This is embarassing.
The 40-year period of Hoxha's rule was characterized by the elimination of the opposition, prolific use of the death penalty or long prison terms for his political opponents and evictions of their families from their homes to remote villages that were strictly controlled by police and the secret police (Sigurimi). His rule was also characterized by the use of Stalinist methods to destroy associates who threatened his power.
Democratic af bruh

means jackshit if the game is still just eu4 with nazis
What I am glad about is that Paradox has made it abundantly clear that the British Raj and China are fucking powerhouses if you manage to industrialize. The Raj is downright unstoppable. With "Limited Conscription" I can field armies of more than 6 million men, and I just shit out factories [editline]30th June 2016[/editline] However this doesn't really matter since the peace deal system is literally the worst thing since hemorrhoids.
Playing as Germany, pretty much taken the leisurely path. Italy jumped the fucking gun though and got rekt by France by 1940. I refuse to help their asses. After Russia and I form an alliance they try to get back into the faction but I stonewalled their asses. Then falangist poland forms (which was my fucking creation) but they form a mega axis with Japan, what was left of Italy, and several baltic states. At first I thought this was bad, but after invading Poland none of the allied powers fucked with me, since they were their own faction and what not. So After partitioning Poland with the allied powers of all people, I see Japan getting fucked by the soviets. After that, France turns Vichy after boosting the party, but then joins the New-New Axis, and immediately declares war on me. It seems like a good thing, I can take them over without repercussions from the Allies, but then the historical thing happens, and I can't get Belgium to fucking allow my troops to break the Maginot. So we're at total stalemate. I'm right now trying to trigger Belgium to become fascist and hopefully they join the NEW Axis and I can break this fucking stalemate. and I don't have to share my winnings with puny Italy. Edit: Tried to focus on greece but brought everyone else into the war. World War II in full swing.
some pieces from the stellaris ost sounds heavily inspired from interstellar holy shit its so good
it's especially impressive when you realize its the same guy who has been composing PDX soundtracks for years dude is talented
Finally. Something to note, while the achievement does say Join the Axis, it can actually be any faction, as long as it is lead by Germany according to the conditions. Though I'm not sure if AI Germany can lead another faction?
Technically speaking it could if it first captures London+Paris, does a focus, loses the war anyway but stays independent and makes a faction with another nation.
The Moscow-Berlin Axis faction or a player made one.
Despite putting my lovely red blanket over Berlin and such, the Allied AI refused wanting to split it into East and West Germany. MORE LAND FOR COMRADE STALIN.

Okay, I need answers. How the fuck do naval invasions work in HoI4? I've got what I need researched, they are at a port, they've got a target, they've got convoys leaking out of their ears, I've got a massive navy patrolling the sea they are going to cross. What more do they need?
Time to plan, though it should tell you if that's the problem.
It just says there are no divisions assigned, doesn't let me assign divisions, and that the troops aren't at the starting location, which they are
It just says there are no divisions assigned, doesn't let me assign divisions, and that the troops aren't at the starting location, which they are
are you trying to assign too many of them? try using a very small force. if you haven't researched any transport technology you can only send 10 divisions on a naval invasion at a time you should only need a handful of divisions anyways, since all you need to do is capture a port and then you can transport the rest of your forces conventionally.
