Fractured world mod when [editline]26th August 2016[/editline] I had lots of fun playing the Divided We Stand mod in Vic2, and Shattered Realms (or whatever it was called) in CK2
There's already a us states mod for HoI 4 that breaks up all the 50 states. Trouble is, it's impossible to get a big war going without the British or Germans intervening.
Decided to revamp my Stain of Sin mod for the new patch because why not. Wanted to give it a less cringy name so anyone have any ideas? I got Siren's Burn from a random generator, and I figured it could be like, it feels like you're burning and it's so painful that everyone who gets it screams in agony. Like a siren. Good? Bad?
Anyone?

Anyone that's ever played the Supreme Ruler series knows the Fractured World games are the best.
Feels good to get back into CKII, Reaper's Due is great. Still iffy on whether or not to get Conclave though
TRD fucked my "load game" so I gotta reinstall
I'm not sure if the likelihood of disease is too high or if I'm incredibly unlucky but it seems like someone in my family has some terminal illness at least once a year.
I'm new to Crusader Kings 2 so I need some advice on the Byzantine Empire, how do I beat the invasion of Albania since I have only 14-15k troops and the Muslims attacking me have 17-20k?
Interesting stuff Do they not check before they update the game?

Then a few seconds later I see 'German Republic has declared war on German Reich' [t]https://i.imgur.com/lTDAsiX.png[/t]

Unit composition is fairly important too. Heavy infantry and cavalry wreck shit and if you've got a good commander with a terrain bonus you could easily win a fight 2:1.
At first I thought the Baltic states were controlled by the same guy like some kind of republican version of a personal union
Czechoslovakia has taken Berlin. The German Republic joined the Allies [t]https://i.imgur.com/jCMeLWa.png[/t]
I'm not sure if the likelihood of disease is too high or if I'm incredibly unlucky but it seems like someone in my family has some terminal illness at least once a year.
Yeah I'm CONSTANTLY sick as well, it needs to be toned down.
Yeah the sickness mechanics are great but they happen a bit too often.
Ok I think I've gotten the hang of CK2's inner workings. I started off as Byzantium in the Viking Age, things go smoothly with my guy as he slowly expands up Italy and the Balkans, forming relations and alliances with a fairly large Bulgaria and Magyar and establishing alliances with the two of them. A couple rebellions about "crown authority being too high" but these peasants don't understand what it means to rebuild the glory of Rome. So eventually, my first guy dies and his son is now the ruler. [t]http://images.akamai.steamusercontent.com/ugc/272853143929579810/E0FFD81CF22E66B7F72099F63BBF5C34FB508E7F/[/t] All is well for some time... until yet again the nobles attempt to blackmail me to lower crown authority. Again I refuse and again we descent into a brutal civil war. But then the caliphs nearby decide its a great idea to invade! So that makes making peace with the rebels after crushing them impossible until I take back the land of the rebels that's in control of the caliphs into my control. Thankfully, my allies in Bulgaria and Magyar come in and rebel the filthy muslims to reclaim what is rightfully mine. It takes a while and the Empire is restored, albeit with a bit less of Sicily/Southern Italy.
Ooh, fractured world would be an immediate buy for me. Anyone that's ever played the Supreme Ruler series knows the Fractured World games are the best.
came in to say this Really, it's extremely entertaining to go from the "everyone against everyone" to 3-4 world superpowers in a quasi-1984 war. EDIT: There was a game like RISK for android that you could customize it to have a fractured world start. Great for killing time while commuting

wew just went ahead and bought horse lords, conclave, and the reaper's due funny how the reaper's due works out a lot cheaper and it's not even on sale lol
funny how the reaper's due works out a lot cheaper and it's not even on sale lol
Reapers Due is arguably one of the best DLCs (paired with patches) since The Old Gods, by far
Seriously, these factions for elective succession keep popping up with 30k men even though most of my vassals are in the green when in relation to me... how the hell do I stop factions????
Seriously, these factions for elective succession keep popping up with 30k men even though most of my vassals are in the green when in relation to me... how the hell do I stop factions????
Simply being in the green isn't enough. It needs to be above 50 or so for them not to join a crown authority faction. You can also send your spy master to scheme in their province and have the chance of getting an event that lets you blackmail and individual and keep them out of factions for a few years, though this can also backfire on you. The wiki is pretty handy http://www.ckiiwiki.com/Factions#Who_can_join_factions

I've always felt like dismantling the Empire is ridiculously difficult to do. I don't think I've ever done it in a run.
only 100 prestige for what is a superduper task?
It's not really that difficult of a task anyways if you're a large power. What else would it even reasonably give you?
It's not really that difficult of a task anyways if you're a large power. What else would it even reasonably give you?
200 prestige?
200 prestige?
If only EU4 prestige didn't max out at 100.
