When you create a custom nation using El Dorado, where is the flag file for your country placed?

It is rendered via numbers stored in the save file. Same with dynasty flags in CK2 The numbers tell the game what images to render and their colours. It grabs the individual parts and puts them together that is why if you install a mod that adds more options for flags it breaks your flag in saves

In other words, no fucking clue what plotting to do that to someone would result in, or indeed who I could or should even do it to :v:

Also, one of my characters randomly massively mutated into a chaos spawn and was killed by their guards. I've since come to theorise it might've been due to a warpdust plot so the plot itself would either be a form of assassination or at least raising hell in a certain character's demesne. [editline]16th May 2015[/editline] I might be imagining it but I think there might also be a plot to instigate ork raids in certain demesnes.

How does it handle succession? I've noticed there does seem to be a method of generating heirs but I've not tried it yet. Also playing Amazons is hard mode because the jungle terrain penalties that you get are [b]brutal.[/b]

Got Heart of Iron III from a m8 on FB, intalled, it made EU4 crash on load up(am pretty sure it was HoI that made it not work since I started up EU the night before I installed HoI and it work fine), but the flags in HoI didn't work for some reason, anyone have a fix do this shit?

Try deleting C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Hearts of Iron 3\gfx\flags\flagfiles.txt

What are some good locations for a custom nation when you're leaving historical nations on? I'm debating between South American Zoroastrian Persians or North American Hellenic New Romans, but that's mostly because I don't want to fuck up the balance of power in other regions by taking away provinces right from the start. I guess I could go Lord of the Pacific and take the uninhabited Indies, or sacrifice Vijayanagar to make Prester John's Kingdom.

Me and my friend are currently playing a multiplayer campaign with him as the Hansa and me as Brandenburg. It's coming along okay (despite my territorial onquest resulting in an Austria-led coalition beating the shit out of us), but I have a pretty annoying problem - once in a while (with no event) my stability will suddenly drop to -3. My king didn't die, and while I might miss a notification once in a while, I don't think I'd miss something resulting in such a stability drop. And it has happened three times. My friend, who has 420 hours in EU4 haven't experienced this ever, and the internet isn't giving me any answers. Have you guys experienced anything similar? It's really fucking my administrative progress.

Are you starting non-casus belli wars against countries you have military access and royal marriage with? That can sure fuck your day up.
