He's done multiple world conquests in CKII, EUIV, and played a bit of Vicky II. From what I know HOI is the only series he's never gotten into, and I don't blame him. The interface and micro made the game clunky as hell and boring in my opinion. If you think he's a casual, then you're probably a super nerd because he's mastered those game more than most people I've seen play them.

I didn't realize that is what you were referring to, it just seemed very out of context. The counters in HOI4 do not replace the unit models. The counters are only for providing information like number of units, strength and all that which you cannot get from a model. Podcat said it should be easy to mod them out, but I'm sure something like that would alter the checksum in multiplayer

I don't know if they changed them or if I just got used to it but they don't look too grey to me any more.

Only about 300k there with Garrisons [t]http://imgkk.com/i/meht.jpg[/t][/QUOTE] Last time I played it (and every single one before, for that matter, don't know if it is supposed to be that way or if it was just luck), Vichy France forms before the germans can get to me and they've always stayed neutral, so the germans choke on the western strip of land that borders the water and you only have to worry about the 5 westernmost border provinces, something which should be manageable with enough rotation between divisions to keep them combat ready and some air cover, since in my experience they never worry too much about Spain and instead prefer to focus on the SU. I warn you though that Italy has always tried in every single playthrough to launch an invasion through Valencia or its neighbouring territories, so keep a handful of troops there just in case they try to mess with you.

I really want it because I love nomads. But it's $15 for the regular and then $20 for content that should honest to god come with it anyways. I don't buy song or unit packs since I don't really mind what my soldiers look like and I don't listen to game music, I tend to have videos on in the background. Guess Paradox just needs to squeeze as much cash out of this as they can.
