Can anyone here river map in the Clausewitz engine?
Is there some bug with Eu 4 and achievements? It says 'You cannot earn achievements this session' and I have no mods activated.

My armies gets exiled if I make separate peace with a country. It's really weird.
If I'm in war with country X and country X brings with country Z and I stomp Z so much that that I can peace them out, my armies gets exiled in Z AND Xs country. This also applies for every other country I have an army in (Even allies). This forces me to pull ALL my armies back to my land and then attack again.
I want to get into a paradox strategy game, but my computer is garbage. Can anybody suggest a good low-spec one?

Europa Universalis 3 (or even 2), the original Victoria, Hearts of Iron 2, Crusader Kings 1, are some very good choices.

Eu3 is still amazing.
Dunno if the DLC is still a problem though.

I find it a little amusing they put "Respectfully" in front of the disagree rating.
Still, Stellaris looks very exciting, and it sounds like it's going to strike sort of a balance between 4x gameplay and grand strategy.

Also a little down that thread Fahreus said that you will be able to see distant star systems you have not explored, and see their planets and planet count, but you will not know what planet type it is until you explored it. Adds a bit of excitement to the exploration phase, such as,
"Oh my! A 10 Planet system, maybe a lot of gas giants to harness, maybe even a desert world with that precious resource! FLEETS! ENGAGE WARP."
Alright.

edit: even better, it's still just one province in Ireland
Why is the HRE emperor Celtic :v:
I've noticed that in EU4 if the big nations in the Empire start attacking each other regularly then some OPM will become emperor and proceed to do nothing with their new power
Though once I think Ulm managed to pass a reform in one of my games

Paradox sale.
If Johan approached me and said that I had a free EU4 DLC right but only one, which DLC should I pick?
TL;DR: Which EU4 DLC Best
at this point common sense
[editline]27th September 2015[/editline]
everything else aside from art of war is honestly pretty so-so, it also unlocks the ability to develop your stuff which I'm still sure up to this point in time screws over people who don't have the dlc
Screw that, I'm not bending down to Paradox. I'm pretty sure VeF will fix that, and I'm never going to play vanilla. Art of War then?
If you don't have CS then I'd get that first, otherwise yes.
CS is a forced DLC yeah, if you dont get it you will be locked out of half the stuff you can do in the game. What sucks even more is that a disaster is broken too because you cant start a proper debate in parliament. So eventually you will have this massive civil war fucking you over because you dont own CS.
That is actually fucking insane, who thought that would be a good idea. If they get away with this I wonder what they'll do next.

I fear what Paradox has in store for HoI4 if Common Sense is basically "You have to have this to actually progress"
What's next, "Increased Fuhrer Mana from purchasing Hearts of Iron IV: Common Lebensraum?" Do we get extra vehicle research because we shat out $15?

Nothing as satisfying as Persia getting gangbanged by everyone around them. After this war Punjab and Western Satraps also took a bite.

Started from the bottom now I'm here. Trying to build Russia from the opposite side of the continent. I'm also Christian.
Yeah, stopped playing Eu4 over that. Feel quite annoyed.
Also that fort system is pretty retarded.

At first I thought the same thing, but the fact that you cant just rush wargoals in a straight line anymore does mean things like military access with neighbors, using reserves and feints, and naval assaults have alot more use now.
It's still a bit jenky from time to time though, could use work.

"Sir, all our rich provinces has been looted, our capital lies in ruins, our manpower devastated, our army destroyed and their wargoal has been achieved. The enemy demands that we sieze only the wargoal province and nothing else. However, they have not yet taken the fort manned with 200 children next to it, what shall we do my lord? Should we accept their terms?
WHAT? NO WAY, WE STILL HAVE THE FORT NO WAY WE SHALL SURRENDER WE CAN STILL WIN THIS OUR COUTNRY STRONG BEST YEAR OF MY LIFE"
Its broken as fuck honestly.
