That is for cores. not for claims. even though I'd still rather have cores

The perfect heir. [t]http://imgkk.com/i/mnsd.png[/t]

https://facepunch.com/showthread.php?t=1493056
Basically, if you form something like Qing, you have permanent claims on the China region.
That time limit made Qing games pretty exciting. Good improvement though but perhaps all hoards should be able to just claim a region. Eu4 could probably do a Mongol expansion with that mechanic.
http://www.heartsofiron4.com/r/oz7jozat3n Russian tanks got annihilated because they didn't have radios or competent crews. It was pretty much North Africa tactics, bait them into AT guns, etc However the Soviets put up a great fight despite the retarded leadership, lack of training and numerical disadvantage.
I read that the early versions of the T-34's could only go 200km's before a full engine servicing was needed (Which basically mean't a brand new engine). The destruction of the Soviet Airforce didn't help matters either which allowed the Luftwaffe an ability to strike ground targets with impunity.

Well Fuel is no longer a resource in Hearts of Iron 4 and may just be rolled up into generic "supplies" wtf
I downloaded the lastest GOT mod version for CK2. Started it up, choose Stannis at the war of the five kings start, immedietly sieged King's landing with 20k+ men, took the whole Lannister family prisoner, which ended the war in my favour and i became the rightful ruler of the seven kingdoms. Then i executed them all. All this in less than 20 minutes after i started the game.

I loved CKII but I'm having a hard time getting back into it, I want to start out as a count but I don't see anything to do early game since I have no dynasty to play around with and there's no one to marry. I have almost all the DLC, is there any recommendations for what I could do to not give up early game

Something that annoys me to no end in EU4 is that India is pretty much "Middle East: India Version" since the Muslim states there always just join up with one another and smash Vijayanagar, which is a shame because the Hindu deity selection is nice and unique compared to other religions, and I've never really had the Muslim states face any religious rebellions to force convert them to Hinduism.

Try a duke at least or give tutorial island another play to get back into the swing of things.
Well Fuel is no longer a resource in Hearts of Iron 4 and may just be rolled up into generic "supplies" wtf
I'm fine with that [editline]11th November 2015[/editline] Oil still exists as a resource though, it has been seen in other screenshots. It is used to build certain things
Fuel was a clusterfuck resource honestly. I ALWAYS ran out of fuel and then had it to return to stockpile god it was so annoying
Im not sure how I feel about fuel, it keeps you from making a fully mech/armor army comp. What're they doing to stop that? It also gave some incentive to focus on Infantry based armies and oil dependent country's like Germany and Japan to plan ahead
We'll probably find out tomorrow, the Dev Blog is about unit supply. This was the hint from last week "Next week we'll be explaining why its a bad idea to tell 40 mechanized divisions to attack the Gobi desert."

Not at all, I'm sure.
Oil is still a resource though in HOI4, you trade it and that. You still need it for production.
Would be awesome to have a hearts of iron game with vicky 2s basic economics.
Would be awesome to have a hearts of iron game with vicky 2s basic economics.
Force Poland to build shitloads of canned food factories and nothing else watch them burn
Canned food becomes the currency in post apocalyptic Poland.
New Dev Diary for EUIV goes over some of the previous features in detail. "Threaten War" lets you seize a province (maybe multiple?) from another nation by threatening them. If you win, you get the province while taking an aggressive expansion hit. If you lose, well, then it goes to war. "Grant Province" lets you give any province that touches a subject to said subject, lowering their liberty desire. I smell turbofeeding
HOI4 DD on Supply https://forum.paradoxplaza.com/forum/index.php?threads/hearts-of-iron-iv-33rd-development-diary-supply.891122/ [editline]13th November 2015[/editline] Next week will be Civil Wars and Coups, that sounds exciting.
If it weren't for the converter being so hanky about having up-to-date conversions, I'd love to do an entire 769-1453 campaign as some dude in Europe, and then once I get to EUIV I change to someone like the Cherokee or one of the Inca nations and just wait to see what weirdos show up on my doorstep
Closed beta invites have gone out for HOI4. I didn't get in. That's fine though, school just got really busy anyways
I wouldn't want to beta test any Paradox game, launch is bad enough :v: Civil war and coup dev diary should be interesting, I'd like to have seen coups work in HoI3. I'll admit I'm looking forward to the alt-history side of HoI4
Civil war mechanics could make Spain interesting.
"Hi count, join my empire or else" "lol nah, ur orthodox" I don't understand, does the AI think it can win vs 60k man armies? [t]http://imgkk.com/i/fska.png[/t]
