Is that a Zoroastrian icon in the Panamanian flag.
Yes, I was going for the "Ideas Guy" achievement and Picked Zoroastrian religion because it had Trade Modifiers.
Man, playing a french game sucks when burgundy event never fires. It's humiliating actually losing to them and makes me really depressed. edit: especially their PU's, and or brittany, they can field nearly 100k~119k or so altogether, it's just not fair
What an odd place for a Khanate Maybe they ride..... Sea Horses [t]http://i.imgur.com/kntPOb9.jpg[/t]

Thanks, I'm pretty punny. Speaking of funny things my rulers seem to not want to bust a nut for 21 years with the seducer trait, 3 concubines, a lover and a wife. GG [t]http://imgkk.com/i/n9cg.jpg[/t]
what mods you running btw?
HIP, Novus Graphicus, NG: Transparent Politcal Map
So I've been playing the Kaiserreich mod for HOI: Darkest Hour as the Union of Britain, and I just finished my (almost single-handed) conquest of Canada and the USA with only 31 divisions, very little air support and without using nukes (although I did have them). So yeah, I'm pretty proud of this especially since my only ally was Mexico as about 10 years before all of my European allies were conquered by Germany. I really wanna like Kaiserreich but the combat in it is so piss easy/simple compared to HoI3 that I get bored.
I mostly just play KR for the scenario and events.
I mostly just play KR for the scenario and events.
Yeah, I really like the Alt History stuff in it and the sheer depth of detail which the flavour text has no matter which nation you play as.
I let an Extended Timeline game run the last couple of days [t]http://i.imgur.com/d4Br5QB.png[/t] [t]http://i.imgur.com/Y6q9kf2.png[/t] [t]http://i.imgur.com/iKGQQjN.png[/t] [t]http://i.imgur.com/ykzK8Br.png[/t] [t]https://i.imgur.com/GHcyKre.png[/t] [editline]2nd March 2016[/editline] Religion [t]http://i.imgur.com/fOWo0E9.png[/t] Culture [t]http://i.imgur.com/0Gbq2Tq.png[/t] Dynastic [t]http://i.imgur.com/t29NqU6.png[/t] Everyone is a Constitutional Monarchy accept Gotland. I feel like that shows outside of player influence theres not much to make a blob fall apart internally.
Also random events, but there are not very many in ET Have a throw back thursday
so paradox announced a new euiv expansion
so paradox announced a new euiv expansion
Hey, a game set primarily in the age of exploration and colonialism ought to have its sea faring mechanics expanded on.
Its just that I haven't seen anyone in this thread mention it yet :v:
Johan also mentioned on twitter that they're already gathering ideas for the next.
Johan also mentioned on twitter that they're already gathering ideas for the next.
jesus just make eu5 already and be done with it
jesus just make eu5 already and be done with it
But then they can't make any more of that sweet, sweet money from charging $15 for every content patch.
so paradox announced a new euiv expansion
Not really gonna be buying anymore DLC...
jesus just make eu5 already and be done with it
It hasn't even been 3 years yet. I'd much rather they did HOI4 first, and then start work on either CK3 or Vicky 3.
There were 6 years between EUIII and EUIV, 8 years between CK and CKII, and 7 years between Vicky and Vicky II. We won't be seeing EUV for a long ass time.
Speaking of HOI4, Dev Diary on the Chinese Civil war. https://forum.paradoxplaza.com/forum/index.php?threads/hearts-of-iron-iv-47th-development-diary-4th-of-march-2016.911900/ Podcat was sick so they couldn't do the planned one on Naval Invasions.
But then they can't make any more of that sweet, sweet money from charging $15 for every content patch.
Still miles above eu3 era DLC where you couldn't even get anymore patches for the game unless you spent £20 - £25 on a big DLC. Also I think the best feature, the army merc thing, is going to be free in the patch so that's pretty cool. I'm not too big on the naval side of EU4 so I dunno if I'll buy it.

Historical accuracy is not Paradox's forte
Wrong flag reeee
They also are still calling it 'Peoples Republic of China' which it wasn't at the time. One of the devs in the thread said they'd look into it, both the flag and the name. Same with Mao's leader portrait, they're using one from the 50-60s, not one from the 40s. Same dev also said they'd look into it, but the art team is very busy. [editline]4th March 2016[/editline] Considering the flags in HOI4 only change with Government like with V2, they're probably using flags that are the most popular/recognizable like Teddybeer said. V2 has lots of inappropriate flags, some out right fictional.
I recall reading that when HoI3 came out that Stalingrad was not even remotely in the correct position. Hopefully we won't see anything as glaring as that, I don't really care that much if civil war communist china uses the PROC flag tbh, easy edit.
It was the same with some other cities as well. The provinces in HOI 3 and 4 are mostly based on terrain features, not political boundaries. The only political boundaries are provinces on the edges of countries. [editline]4th March 2016[/editline] Though Stalingrad being that far away is a bit strange. Maybe they changed some province IDs around and forgot to fix it.
