I've never backed anything before but I just can't let a project like this die, backed €20
Rolled in 20e, game looks both interesting and promising. Looking forward to demo!
The gameplay trailer looks amazing! I have to consider backing it.
Gonna back this game next Thursday when I get paid

The kickstarter is already almost half way there...
I really hope this ends up getting funded, but it's pretty hard to be all that hopeful when you consider they're asking for $30k more than what Agony, a really similar game, ended up making in total from it's entire kickstarter. Agony had a more understandable goal to the gameplay (escape hell) and took place in a probably more understandable setting as well than wherever this is at. idk it's hard to imagine this really doing that much better than Agony did but I really hope I'm wrong, because fucking hell this game deserves better than two failed kickstarter attempts.
Did you baked two kickstarters in the past? Which ones? Also if kickstarter games have already a demo and they are already awesome as they are, the possibility of them failing os low.
Seems like it's going to be fully funded this time.
Officially past the halfway point!
As amazing as they sound, I'm surprised and a little dissapointed that the guns work like regular guns. You poke the glowing magic rock into the beef and then it goes bang. I would have hoped for something more akin to an incredibly forceful spit or a throat/anus like contraction so powerful that its like squeezing a bar of soap so hard that when it flies out of your grip it kills someone.
I would love guns that were completely alien too, it certainly would fit with the design. But maybe they would risk the gameplay being a bit too obscure to people if went too far with its designs, so they decided to play it safe in some ways.
Not sure if there's been any word on how many weapons there would be in the game, but I doubt all weapons will simply be "bang" guns. Hoping to see some freaky shit.
Granted it is an adventure game foremost so spending too much time on really creative weapons might have set them back too much. There is always time for more though as we've only seen two variations.

Like, the small rock?
Why not acid? That could work for a shotgun/flamethrower analogue. Also, we're nearing €85K on the Kickstarter.

A flamethrower would kill them too fast. Unless maybe it has a very limited ammo supply, but then that would make it useless. I can see gun balance and variety being very tricky for this game.
Yeah, an acid shotgun would be better.
Or maybe a barbed tentacle launcher requiring you to keep within a certain range for the duration it takes for it to pump the enemy full of poison?
reminds me of morrowind
30 days to go, they're at €92K. Seems to be going smoothly so far.
I'll admit that wasn't my proudest nut. But it was definitely the most pleasurable.
Strangely appropriate avatar. Also, the Kickstarter is just about to break €100K.
contra meets doom for sure
contra meets doom for sure
Nah, too slow-pace to be like the fast action Doom and Contra. I would say is like System Shock 2 or Bioshock but with a lot more meat.
it's very reminiscent of the contra levels but i disagree. the trailer makes the game look slow paced like an adventure game but i guarantee you by the time gamers get their hands on it, they'll play it like it's half-life. prey was supposed to be a slow adventure style game and half of the people that played it played it like quake

It was literally based off of System Shock which is FPS RPG. This is an adventure game first and foremost with some survival elements in regards to ammo usage.
I'm in love with this game's art style. Does anyone know what the gameplay will be like? What kind of skill/decision making we'll be doing?
