Overwatch - The world needs heroes, and Blizzard needs a TF2 game! - Games

The fact that they're premiering these shorts on Xbox/Playstation youtube channels gives me high hopes for the console versions of this game. Thank god this gen was x86-64 or this stuff might not be as easy.

That's just because they wanted to show off all of the characters for trailer purposes, not that they're going to be good guys or even part of Overwatch.

Nah, I'm pretty sure they were just generic trailer shots, not previews. Especially that final scene, considering it's just a big shot of all the characters. I can't imagine a context for all of them to just be standing next to each other looking into the sky without any hostility going on. The only stuff we've seen of the upcoming shorts that we know of is [url=https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wIHKbDbx8y8]this video.[/url] So it looks like the next short will be Widomaker and Tracer facing off on Kings Row.

I could be wrong, but I feel like you're just looking too deep into something meant to entice people in theaters before a movie :v: It's just meant to catch interest. There's no evidence that those scene will be relevant later.

I don't think it's too far fetched to say that they're just using scenes from upcoming shorts that they've already rendered and pieced together for a theatrical trailer.

It seems foolish to me to jump to any real conclusions based upon a two second shot of people posing for the camera.

And keep in mind if you're logic is correct and Widowmaker being in that scene means she'll turn good, then that means there will end up being [I]no villain characters or rivalries[/I] later on, because [I]everyone's [/I]in that shot. I don't see that happening.

The space ship could be very distracting idk

Reaper is in there aswell, and he's probably evil even when he's saving kids and kittens! Say, what are the specs needed to run this? I kinda really dig everything about the game, but I don't want to shell out 60€ and then have it run like arse...
