ye, im guessing we cant get duplicates of stuff we already have, so maybe eventually when you have enough of the trash items unlocked you start getting credit more frequently.
I think you can actually, and it get's converted to currency.
Symmetra is amazing her teleporter makes defence so easy
fuck now I'm getting the "Whoops! Something went wrong. Give it another shot!" when I try to dl the patch
So I made a distribution overview based on the current data from the survey since the image was older and only based on around 5k people. [t]http://i.imgur.com/zrdG9dN.png[/t] Now with 17k responses.
Fucking hell. I really do have no hope getting into that beta.
People that play Mei should have their beta revoked What the fuck do you even do against the ice gun there is literally no defense for being instantly frozen and stuck for 10 seconds
Or just fire the guy who had the idea and everyone who listened. It's bad even on paper.
I think getting into this beta weekend will make things worse for me. Before I could just tune it out until the open beta starts, but now the little taste I've got will make the wait so much worse  Consider it a blessing in disguise Onlywatchers.
tbh I have played a match as every character now and Mei was the one I had least success with. maybe it was the game mode (that king of the hill thing in Nepal) but I would run in, start coolin people off, then just get blapped. [editline]16th April 2016[/editline] that said I also have no idea how to utilize the Winston/Zarya/Reinhardt/Dva class of characters. I move in on the objective trying to be as disruptive and tanky as possible but I don't get any kills and none of my teammates take advantage of it. I don't know why I wouldn't just play someone like Mcree, Genji, Hanzo, or Widowmaker and just murder everyone then walk on an empty point. It sucks because conceptually Dva and Zarya are some of my favorites but it's hard to tell how well I'm doing with them.
I'm kinda concerned for Symmetra's viability in the longrun of this game. In just about any situation, having reliable heals is a million times better than anything she brings to the table. She honestly feels more like a Defense hero than a Support one. Imo the next 2 heroes we get should be real supports, and they should make Symmetra a Defense hero.

The shield buff is hilariously tiny.

I'm more concerned about how Zenyatta just seems completely outclassed by Mercy and Lucio.
Just had a 14-2 game with McCree, just really feeling myself, and my display driver stops responding, game crashes
I'm more concerned about how Zenyatta just seems completely outclassed by Mercy and Lucio.
Healingwise yeah but his attacks tear shit up. I can solo Pharahs when I put the orb of discord on them.
Healingwise yeah but his attacks tear shit up. Sure he can kill people with ease, but I would much rather have another reliable offense hero on my team if that's the case then someone who has some of the lowest health in the game and isn't safe like Tracer. I can kill a lot of people 1v1 with Lucio too thanks to my heal aura, and I can benefit the rest of my team with it as well while still dishing out plenty of damage, same as Zenyatta.
Roadhog shouldn't exist. The fact he can instantly murder even himself is stupid.
Roadhog shouldn't exist.
I need to clarify my rating You're not useful You're a TOOL >:(
I need to clarify my rating You're not useful You're a TOOL >:(
I'm sorry, I was letting out my rage. i'm fine with him existing, but he needs serious rebalancing. Pull -> shoot once -> melee. That's all it needs to finish off pretty much everyone.
God I wish this game saved full matches instead of just little highlights. Just had a game where I wiped the enemy team twice as tank bastion. Once when everyone else on my team was dead and the enemy team all grouped on the point, and once right at the last second of overtime. Felt so fucking good!
Roadhogs laugh is super impressionable it makes me start laughing every time.

He's honestly one of the worst tanks in the game because he doesn't have any way of directly benefiting his team at all. You know what makes Roadhog useless? Zarya, a much better team-oriented tank. This is coming from someone who mains Roadhog. I wouldn't ever play him in a serious competitive setting (with the exception of countering particular heroes) because he's a self-benefit hero more than a team player one.
I like Roadhog. He helps me charge my ult every time I see him.

However, because of this, he must be excluded from a teamfight, leaving his team to be 5v6 until (and if) he lands a hook.

They need to rework that ability probably.
I like roadhog because i can sneak up on Bastions and lay the hurt on them

You don't need a team of guys who suck at killing but are very good at scratching each other's backs, you need a team of vicious beasts with one support healer to keep them running and glued in a single, deadly file.

I ask as someone who has only played during this very short beta and have no clue what the "meta" is if there even is one this early but Roadhog is almost always picked on atleast one team and usually for both. He has a great combination of damage, survivabilty, and utility and is honestly one of the most powerful characters I've played as. It's actually hard off the top of my head to come up with a more powerful one. Mcree and Widowmaker are good slayers but they cant stand on the objective like a Roadhog can. Him being a "bad tank" that isn't very team-oriented doesn't preclude him from being very powerful. For the record Zarya is far and away one of the least seen characters this weekend. When I played one game as her I had no idea what I was supposed to do other than shield myself and a buddy, run to the objective, and tickle people with the particle beam.
Zarya is an extremely powerful character in this game. One of the best, really. Her invulnerability shields can save lives and spearhead offenses. And while they're doing that, they'll buff up your long range hitscan laser beam that can't be deflected by genji or negated by dva. Her ult's usefulness goes without saying, clumping together enemies sets up for any kind of large aoe damage. It dominates teamfights easily. On top of all that, she has 400 hitpoints, 200 of which are shields, which will regen passively rather than having to be restored through healthkits. Compared to Roadhog, a character whose main purpose is to secure kills via a skillshot and soak up damage, she outclasses him pretty hard in higher level play.

People just really seem put off by her looks. Zarya can easily shield herself whenever she gets hooked, or shield someone else, from any range. She pretty much obsoletes the purpose of his hook. I never said Roadhog was bad. I just meant he wasn't as good at being an effective tank as Zarya.
It was fun while it lasted.
My last game was hilarious. Payload on Route 66 I just stuck to a Bastion as Mercy and kept him healed and damage boosted. We got all the way to the interior point before he died, then when we came back we road the hover platforms all the way to their spawn, him killing pepole all along the way :v:.
