I hate to bring up the TF2 comparison, but it definitely brought back the feelings I have of the early days of that game which is some damn fine praise.

I wish we got to play Ilios, but I really loved what I got to play. Though I did find myself playing support more often, Dva was my favorite hero to play as.

I'd honestly spring for collector's after this weekend if I liked the statue more. 76 is cool, but I don't like him enough to get a statue of him, and I don't like that it's not colored. There will be an open beta, but it hasn't started yet. It'll open on May 5th. And you'll get in on May 3rd if you pre-order. That only runs until the 9th, though. Then it's another wait until release.

Well, I finally got a chance to play this weekend. And you know what? It was really dang fun, and it's solidified my love for this game. Can't wait to dive in again on May 3rd (or 5th).

I'm pretty glad to have bought this game.

I liked the game, very fun when it works, but I had serious rubberbanding issues. Where others seem to run in place and then teleport somewhere else. I even had this during the training and tutorial.

Rounded off my ~12 hours of weekend beta with finding out who my favorite offense hero is and getting five POTG's as McCree Fuck me I cannot wait two weeks and change now

I gave up on Mcree after dying the instant i spotted an enemy with him 3 times in a row.

Also Genji is really strong counter to Bastion, reflecting half a second of Bastion's fire will get him close enough to death that a single shuriken burst will take him down.

For killing Genji and Mcree were two of my best, along with Bastion. Bastion set up in a good spot is absolutely brutal and if someone starts chipping away at you it takes like a second to switch to recon mode and move. I fuck them up as a tank when it's available. My favorite character was Mercy though. It's the TF2 medic that can fly and boost other peoples damage. My friend and I discovered how well she compliments Pharah in our opening matches of the beta and we pretty much played that combo exclusively when he was on.

I really loved when I got more kills on foot with D.Va than in a mech.
