Hmmh I guess so. I personally just see them as fun media to show off some characters etc., but I guess they are pretty bland if you were hoping for some good world-building.
Maybe Blizzard is just starting with showing off characters before throwing world-building at us though. If I rerember correctly TF2 also started with minimal story and character-introducing vids before getting to the meat of the story/world (Saxton Hale, robots and that kind of shit).
Well, one week till 3th of May. I guess i'll re-watch all Overwatch videos, that i viewed recently, and also i gotta play old fast shooters like UT 1999 or Quake 3. Gotta get myself ready. :v:

I had a friend who owed me Overwatch and yesterday he sent to money to me on PayPal, but he didn't realize that there's the conversion fee so I'm missing like 1,03€ right now. Not a big problem considering I'll get some money on the 30th but still real annoying. Why can't you just gift the damn game, Blizzard.

The FAQ doesn't say but some of the wording makes it sound like you can't download it til it goes live.

While your intention might be good, you should never do that sort of thing to a fellow artist.
It's like you're saying: "You did it all wrong. This is the right way!" Which usually results in the other artist feeling inadequate.

The timing and reaction was off.
I got maybe 6 hours of playtime during the beta weekend and my hype was akin to that of TF2 when I was a small child who had just managed to snag it for $2.50. I'm definitely preordering.
