How are people playing at the moment?

Grrr, bought Origins Edition thinking I'll get early access (want to get early because will have no access to my PC from 6th to 10th, most of open beta), that's what you get for not doing your research before buying things. Anyone knows if it's possible to buy an early access code from some resellers?

One day in and I already hate this games community, literally every other game is full of toxic players. I've been told to outright kill myself 3 times. Seems that whatever generates the horrible toxicity in MOBAs has leaked into this.

One thing I'm getting yelled at for is that I've only really had time to play one character so far, and so when we get duplicates im the one thats told to switch to a healer or a tank or something that I have no experience with and then I get yelled at for playing that class poorly. I'm just trying to start off on whats day 1 for me, I dont know anyone other that my main character. Like maybe in ranked I might expect this but people take things way too seriously in casual.

How the hell do you play McRee? It feels like playing Spy in TF2 but only using the revolver, no cloaking or disguise. Basically you can kinda snipe, but as soon as someone's a mid-range you're dead because you're so squishy.

So far, played nearly all classes, and my favourites are D'va, Mercy and McCree. Especially D'va, 'cause fun as hell with her boosters. Also, since we've talked a lot about characters - let's talk about maps - which ones do you like? Personally i think that Hollywood is fun, Gibraltar is interesting too.

Reaper is fun to play as, especially with his teleport ability, closing that gap between him and widowmaker.

wait, Overwatch can run on [B]Intel HD 4000[/B]? So can it run on 645M GT then? If I'll get 30FPS it'd be pretty fucking incredible.

I killed 5 enemies (and myself) with D.Va's ultimate. Then got to see it again because I got play of the game.

I love Pharah, though it feels like I'm playing no-ski Tribes

the only combo that is cancer to me is Reinhardt and mercy in a payload mode. good fucking luck stopping the cart when mercy is inside his ass the entire time with his shield up.

I can imagine that will be a lot of the Blizzard fans since it's their first FPS game.

in my travels i have found that with the exception of tracer players, nobody knows how to handle soldier 76 runnin' around and shooting them in the temple

Your friend pissed me off so much because I was trying to best him but just wasn't managing.

killing yourself with tracer's ult leads to watching your own POV for the kill cam it's humiliating yo

Okay, Zarya's my favorite tank, she's just too much fun.

I've only played about 5 matches so far and have already had to ask myself "We're on defense, so why do we have multiple Tracers, no healers, and literally no tanks?"

Running at Dvas with Symmetra's laser gun never gets old. It's just so terrifying.

Interesting. I really thought I would like junkrat more than bastion but after playing it bastion is definitely the hero I'll play the most I think.

Preordered last night after being told I could join the early access by a friend. Turns out there was a cut-off point :( it hurts

I really don't own the beta but I assume you guys are having fun I might focus on this more than TF2 which is what I instantly regret saying

How spongey are people in this game? I usually don't like FPSs where characters can take a lot of damage.
