Overwatch - The world needs heroes, and Blizzard needs a TF2 game! - Games

Sucks everything is going to be reset after the beta. I got stuff I liked out of the loot boxes.

I would be enjoying this game much more if my internet connection wasn't utter crap, like, it began shitting itself 4 months ago and I have no idea what's going on, and it only craps itself during the after-noon/evenings. I was playing early this morning, like 05:00 early, and everything felt perfect, but come 15:00 everything becomes much more slluggish, hits wouldn't register, which is especially annoying with Zarya's plasma stream, movement teleports due to lag, ETC.

I've been fine for the past 8 or so years.

Junkrat is a fucking ridiculous character and I feel like he's overpowered. What's a good counter?

Bastion outside of turret mode is super squishy

So is there anyone who hasn't used their spare code yet? I'm still pretty pissed Blizzard didn't send me my pre-order codes for whatever reason. Even when I sent them a support ticket and they just said, "You should have gotten one. Ohh well."

High mobility heroes are also good against Junkrat since his projectiles have more trouble directing them. Try Genji or Tracer. Or even Dva. Just watch out for his traps.

On the flipside, being able to guide your bombs to hit and kill targets that are above you, or airborne, or airborne because YOU launched them with your detonator bomb is one of the most satisfying things with Junkrat. Honestly I never really played much Demoman in TF2, but there's something about the arc of Junkrat's bombs and setting up traps that makes him so much fun to play.

Was Mercy's voice before the switch better? She's the only VA that I don't really like all that much

so I see you guys talking about characters getting more skins down the line, and apparently more heroes eventually hitting the roster. Is there official word on the frequency they plan on doing this? I love that the skins have some diversity in models (sniper girl's huntress outfit is damn nice), but some of the variants are just wonky feeling right now. Like mentioned before I hope junkrat gets something a bit snazzier, I'd like to see more color variations for D.Va's scrapbot models (they're very blah right now but I love the aesthetic of the mech and her own suit), and a new model set altogether since the bug variant is kinda neat, but the accompanying pilot suit's modeling is ugly as hell will there be options for community submissions? I've seen a lot of fan art using models, looks a lot like SFM content. Is that stuff available somewhere? Goddamn I want to skin D.Va's MEKA

What's a good counter?[/QUOTE] Anything stupidly fast up close, or anything with good hitscans at moderate-to-long range. He's only got 200HP. I wind up dying to Tracers and Widowmakers all the time as one, but S76s and that one archer guy also are pretty rough.

I think Blizz needs to work on the map selection method, seems to favor some maps more than others.

I've unlocked skins and poses and sprays for half the roster but she remains blank. also I want the spray for that achievement where you tank 1500 damage with one use of the shield. How hard is that to get? I assume I need like half the opposing team to be on my face

Yeahhhh Bastion is not balanced. Being immobile is not really a good argument when you get melted before you get a chance to shoot.

speaking of turrets, a torbjorn's turret got a highlight reel using my face. It was facing one way, and would almost immediately whip 90 degrees to snipe me and some others with pinpoint shots from across the street as we walked through various doorways, while simultaneously keeping pressure in the other direction. Quite the bugger
