Overwatch - The world needs heroes, and Blizzard needs a TF2 game! - Games

Pretty fucking stupid that the game basically promotes spawn camping.

played overwatch for the first time in payload. i'm still not sure which class will be my main, but the classes that i like to play the most are d.va, tracer, widowmaker, and bastion. this game is pretty fun, but not fun enough to quite meet my expectations, which i admit were very high. i initially expected my first time playing overwatch to be as fun as the very first time i played tf2, which i think was the most fun i ever had. but i am still probably going to buy the game.

do longer loading times mean you're getting put in a higher skill bracket?

Just gave the open pc beta a try. have to say, as someone who's been absent from the FPS genre for the past few years in favor of league/doing schoolwork like a good lil college student, this is a pretty welcome return. reminds me of my early days in TF2 all over again, except a lot shinier.

Feels like familiar territory. edit: btw add blankCharon for good times ;) until the open beta is done though i might end up buying it before then after all

I'll be honest, in the previews I didn't really think Zenyatta looked that fun, but I'm having a blast with him. Between team heals and discord orbs, he's really useful, especially against tank-heavy teams.

Its so perfect, holy shit I knew it would be. Knowing it actually is though, even better. Gonna preorder as soon as I can.

I've had 3 matches in a row where the composition of my team is either 2 to 3 widowmakers and the result of that is a horrible match. Seeing a widowmaker is starting to trigger me

Play a game as all roadhogs constantly grabbing enemies is the best video game experience I've had in awhile.

I feel like everyone in this thread hates me already, I mainly play Tracer and Mei. Also Junkrat feels so much better than Pharah, and this is coming from someone who was horrible at Demoman and played a lot of Soldier. Junkrat is just... better

I love it when the enemy team has a really good Widowmaker on offense but they still lose anyway. It just makes me want to say, "You could've played someone more useful."

man I hate the soundtrack for this game though. very annoying imo.
