It's still that much weaker.
wow so much hardscoping bodyshots in that video, I feel uneasy about that
That wallhack-super looks pretty cool to use.

It's given to her teammates too which makes it even more useful.
I don't understand why they felt the need to add a classic sniper character, getting killed instantly from out of nowhere is the definition of annoying
Half the heroes they've shown so far can one-shot eachother.

Not sure if this was posted already, but she looks okay. The sniper looks really strong considering how fast it charges.
It bothers me how much he tried to scope people in CQC and how he almost never used the venom mine, I saw several occations where it could've saved his life or stopped an enemy. The only time I think he used it was when Mccree killed him.
i was honestly hoping for more unscoped full-auto gameplay. i know how a sniper handles but i was curious if the unscoped fire is more SMG or more AR.
is it safe to say that there's no headshot game mechanic in overwatch?
I like how for long sections of that video it seemed the medic was soley pocketing the sniper - it really is tf2! :v:
more like they favour more buffs to the class they're recording
Is that really how they're doing it? I just figured they'd just have every playtester record their runs and grab the footage from thoes who'd gotten the best killstreaks or looked the most dramatic, rather than planning beforehand who they are going to record.
Telling everyone the cameras are running on a particular person might cause some unsual gameplay I'd feel, such as all the enemies focusing that person and everyone trying to get on screen and the like.
It's a demo vid, it's supposed to make the hero look as good as possible.
That's why all of them have the player go on massive killstreaks, never or very rarely dies, and never gets focused despite being a massive threat.
Well okay then, I'll take your word for it.

Mercy video states otherwise. Guy playing didn't know how to play Mercy so he dies tons of times throughout the entire video.
1 video on a hero not even meant for killing invalidates what I said?
There is the two videos that were during the same match but from different perspectives. Tracer and Symmetra I think.
I just really don't like the sound of a one-shot kill mechanic in this game.
Snipers are going to be very annoying.

and then we got Symmetra's
All that's left is Bastion and Zarya, I'm betting Bastion is next.

I think it requires a full charged headshot or a full charged bodyshot with mercy's buff. Unskilled players, especially lone-wolves aren't going to be a huge issue I'd imagine.
Mobile tank is really op imo
Compared to an aoe regeneration field that makes you invincible while you're casting it?
At least you can still take damage while using it and Bastion is already pretty large as it is. That minigun does humongous amounts of dps but Bastion is a massive target and any kind of knockbacks would screw up the aiming with the cannon.
Holy crap he looks strong. He's tanky as hell so the burst classes can't gib him. He's got a strong LMG by default and can go into that turret mode that's even stronger and protected, not to mention the self-heal and that tank mode. He may actually end up nerfed, but we'll see.
I'd say maybe make the self repair thing take longer to get into and out of but it would require balancing since if it takes too long it just wouldn't be worth it.
If they have a good bastion, he'll be a pain to deal with unless you have an equally good pharah/reaper. Or a very good tracer or widowmaker.

I forgot to mention that, but the time it takes to go in and out of turret mode is really short, same for the self repair.
Hanzo's ult seems like it isn't that great on open maps, it's really obvious and doesn't really move that fast. Zarya literally just looks at it and side steps it like 3 or 4 times.

The problem is Hanzo is using it in really obvious spot. He needs to remember that it goes through walls. If he knows where the point is he could stand behind a wall and use it, enemy wouldn't know where it is til it's coming through the wall at them.
But he does this really loud weeb chant before casting it.
But there's no direction to it. When he casts it it echoes throughout the entire map.
