The one thing I don't really like much about 76 is his ult. Seems like it could be a bit redundant.
Holy crap I love his ultimate or whatever their charged ability is called in this. Like it doesn't look very impressive from third person but seeing all that target acquisition auto aiming technobabble on the screen looks cool, makes it feel like he's some kind of terminator.

It seemed like that was clearly supposed to be Reaper and Widowmaker on the left, a younger Reinhardt on the right and Torbjorn jumping about in the background

I don't have a problem with the gun except from the fact that it's practically a bullet-shooting strobe light, I hope they re-check everything and tweak all of their over-the-top effects at some point.

See video above, they are working on it. They apparently also upped the FoV a bit. This game sounds more and more great with time.

Widowmaker was just the wife of an Overwatch operative, not a member, wasn't she? Also she has an Egyptian eye thing I can't remember the name of going on; I think sniper-lady is Pharah's mother.
Well I guess this means 76 isn't connected to whatever Reaper is doing. Reaper is killing former Overwatch agents, 76 is just going after the people that brought down Overwatch. He'd probably kill anyone who got in his way but I wouldn't imagine he's specifically target the people who were of the organization he's avenging.

76 did say that Overwatch was taken apart from the inside.
I'm guessing Reaper and 76 are going to be opposing each other though. Maybe Reaper is Reyes?

Hate his ult, another auto-aim ultimate? Couldn't they come up with something cool and interesting?
76 looks boring as hell, but he'll probably be a good entry-level character.

I'm really pleasantly surprised that they are listening to the community to this extent. I heard and experienced a bunch of games (mostly MOBAs) where the devs thought they knew everything and that player feedback didn't matter if it conflicted with their opinions, and practically all of them just died off because they killed their community right after releasing the game or even during alpha/beta tests. Those things gave me a pretty pessimistic view on hyped games.
However, they could still ignore most of the feedback and their game would most likely still be played by a lot of people, but after seeing that last video it sounds like they're actually listening to all of the feedback including things which don't seem to matter for a considerable amount of players (FoV and effects which they plan to go back and fix or have already done so). I wasn't sure at first about the game because "Blizzard" but I'm starting to believe that the game will definitively turn out great.
My main complaint with this was that the gun models took up about 70% of your screen space so its good that they're changing it.

Are you thinking that I'm saying that Widowmaker is Pharah's mother? I'm talking about the woman visible in the group shot of Overwatch in Soldier 76's backstory video. She even has the same last name as Pharah, it's on her arm.
Only problem with his ultimate is that it's useless at high level play, or if you can already aim just fine. It needs an extra buff to his abilities like being able to shoot while sprinting or strafe-sprinting, or heat-seeking on his missiles.

Looks fine to me, it's like McCree's ult but with no wind up time. And I'm sure it will still be useful even for players with good aim, it's practically an aimbot with seemingly no spread.

Unlike McCree's ult, though, all 76's does is aim for you. McCree's deals damage based on how long you lock for, 76's just points you in the right direction, you still shoot on your own accord and seemingly deal the same damage. And you can use your rocket with the lock as well.

Soldier 76's gameplay was pretty snoresville to be honest. All he seemed to do was just sit at a chokepoint, lean out, shoot and go back again. Since 76 has a sprint we can hopefully expect some more of a guerrilla style gameplay down the line.

A character like Tracer is better suited to that.
