Is there any information on the Grey Fox looking sword guy? He's on the team artwork, but theres no more details about him anywhere on the website.
Could have possibly been a character they removed at some point?
I'm pretty sure he's in one of the trailers so no.

There's a few characters that pop up in the trailers but aren't revealed on the website, it's safe to say we have more characters to come.
Yeah and? What point are you trying to make, cause the fact that he uses technology (in a game set in future, wow surprising) doesn't change the fact that his character is boring.
Was supposed to be a joke. Guess it didn't really hit home.
lets play spot the valve fanboys

wow what a rip off gabe should sue whens episode 3
Anyway, I'm really excited for this game. The maps looks really vibrant and fun, same with the classes.

been playing that all day on /vg/
that and, 'fight for your waifu'.
How do people see tf2 in this?
The only real similarity I see is that they have similar art style.
Ahoy.
Hero speculator and conductor of the hype-train reporting in.
TF2 barely resembles TF2 anymore.
Still the same. 9 classes with big guns killing each other. It's still the same.

Even then I don't find the art style that similar to TF2. Being "cartoony" is a very wide artstyle.
TF2 uses lots of color coding along with rustic and basic colors and large brush strokes. Silhouettes also pay a great deal in that. There's virtually no detail in it either. None of that seem to apply with Overwatch.
I wish Hanzo's character design was more interesting, cause he looks quite fun to play.
Blizzard jumping on the merch train real early with this one.
Is it too early to want this? Cause I want this.
I'd be lying if I said I didn't want it.
But its way too early for me to consider it.

Pretty much my thoughts. I wish they gave some info on the cyber samurai though, that guy looks awesome too.
According to someone who went to BlizzCon, the gunslinger looking dude in the posters and stuff is named Joel.
Kind of a boring name in comparison to the rest of the cast, but a fitting name for a gunslinger.
Looks pretty fun. I tried to play TF2 a few times but never got into it because pre-market/F2P garbage I only had it on the PS3 which, to anyone who had to suffer the PS3 Orange Box incident, can understand why I couldn't enjoy it. By the time I tried to play it on the PC it was already post-market/F2P garbage which I really can't get into. I'll be sure to look at this when it comes out, but I don't think there's a reason to go buying $150 statues of the characters yet.
lets play spot the valve fanboys
I showed both trailers to a friend who enjoys tf2. He was super hyped about it and said he'll def play it as an alternative to TF2.
2 people that I know so far have a massive boner for the reaper guy. I understand why because that moment in the trailer during the bass drop was so well executed.
I gaurentee 25% of players in the beta will continuously pick Reaper.
Did they ever mention if Beta or Alpha started taking in the community?

Ah. thanks for the link, i've ordered this and will post hotglue vids at request
So uh why does the sniper change the size of her curves in her trailer?
Did they ever mention if Beta or Alpha started taking in the community?
well like it says in the OP, Beta will start in 2015, no further info so far
Some character's voice annoys me a lot.
Aside from that, it looks pretty nice.
I'm interested in the game but it looks very generic, but we shall see I guess
By the way, beta signup is live! Just go to the official site and click on the beta link and sign up with your Bnet account
After seeing the cinematic trailer I so want this to have a movie too.
Also, any word on system requirements? I want to try this out because Hanzo looks cool.
They havent handed the first batch of beta keys yet I think, so no idea until then

I don't know, but I'm not gonna complain.

Some Reaper love since he seems to be a big favorite too.

Looking at the cinematic trailer it seems that reaper was supposed to have some kind of grenade launcher. I wonder why they dissed it out
I don't give a fuck about all that waifu cancerous faggotry, i just want to see if the gameplay is on point, did they announced a date or anything for the BETA ?
