not really sure what they could monetize other than skins, sprays and account fluff like profile pics. I would hope skins arent going to be that expensive but being blizzard they will probably be £9-15 each Maybe some emote packs

If the game has a [I][B]$60[/B][/I] price tag, then paying for skins/emotes/etc. is bullshit. But it's too early to tell, so who knows.

No don't release the Cyber Samurai it will make me feel bad that I'm not in the beta.

was expecting her to be a static, 'shoot ice and disrupt your enemies' kind of hero. a mobile character that can climb everything sounds a lot cooler

Was expecting a hero that can manipulate movement speed, like slowing enemies by freezing them or speeding allies with ice paths.

If the game is really going to cost $60 then I expect getting into the beta is actually way harder than expected. And the test weekends or whatever they planned are probably going to require a pre-order to access.

So I see that some of you guys don't like the 60 dollar price tag that is being tossed around. I don't have too much problems with the price if they add enough maps and gamemodes to support that price, of course. With dedicated servers and the chance of old buddies from TF2 coming back for Overwatch, I'm sure I'll get plenty of mileage from it. Eh, maybe I'm being too optimistic about it's lasting success at that price. So if you disagree with that, what would you guys think the price should be? Also, if the skins and all other cosmetics had to be bought but you got all the heroes, what do you guys think the highest price they could ask for the game is? Should it be free if that was the case?

personally im not even entertaining the idea that it has a pricetag until blizzcon, lord only knows how many times different retailers advertised a hugely hyped/unannounced game for a specific release date/platform availability, and nothing ever came out of shit like that. this just seems like the same sorta deal

Only exception in recent years has been Starcraft 2: Wings of Liberty back in 2010. Edit: Confirmed for 60 dollar Buy-2-Play Collector Edition. Presumably comes with Beta access.
