I really hope they somehow salvage Reaper's character, turn down the edginess a bit. He's just way way too serious about himself. Just have him do something clumsy or kind-hearted in the comic at least.

I'm curious how exactly he turned to "kill everyone related to Overwatch". I know Reyes was apparently leading some rebellion against Morrison but I don't really see why that results in him hunting down former agents.

He played Hatred and became who he is nowadays.

Apparently he was a kind of go it alone guy and thought the mission should be complete one way or another(during which time he was leading the time) while Morrison was all about the team comes first which lead to there split and Morrison become leader. Before that they were good friends so I guess we'll see him be a bit more chill and laidback before the break up.

If Reaper was just a generic mercenary like his alt skin, he would lose all his discernible character flair and fade into the background as "the shotgun guy". The mask, the lines, the hood/coat, even the way he 'reloads': they all make him a very unique character. It's like if The Punisher and Spawn were given free reign over a character design but Bob Kane kept them both in check. He's perfect just the way he is.

When it comes to edgy, it's go big or go home. It's worse to be slightly edgy but just edgy enough to be edgy than it is to be full on super edgy.

The REAL validation of Reaper's edgyness is going to be his backstory. If it's Batman-tier then it's 100% warranted. But if he was just some contrarian teen, spraypainting anarchy symbology and/or mantras on the side of government buildings for attention then it's just going to be laughable.

So wait is this thing going to be 40$ or F2P?

why people think adding a price tag on a game is an easy solution to stop hackers from invading the game? It seems that they clearly never seen how hackers adapting a situation before. Hackers are unstoppable. Even CoD has hackers even with a price tag.

I was gonna say $40 seems a little steep, $20-30 seems like a better price tag for a game with microtransactions but then I saw the game is $70 AUD
