He is designed to be the antagonist of the story. In a game that is rather silly, having an overly exaggerated villain makes perfect sense.

I don't think anyone is claiming that there is a magical price tag that completely eliminates all hacking from a game. Having a price tag on a game, particularly one that is significant (e.g. >$20) is however going to result in less cheating than a game that is Free-2-Play. That's what people are saying. I'm sure you'd agree with that reasoning.

Reapers design isnt that bad except those giant ass boot things with faces on them
tbh, I think his design would've been better with his origin skin + the mask
the overwatch characters are like a bunch of superheroes and villains, and reaper is their punisher/batman with a knack for murdering people/generic, edgy "saturday morning cartoon" villain

And Soldier 76 is the common "legendary idealistic hero everyone looks up to but was betrayed and is believed missing/dead but is actually now a cynic living in isolation" archetype.
76 was pretty much Captain America until he "died", then he became The Punisher.

I remember reading earlier in the thread that someone was able to install the game but they weren't actually invited to the beta iirc. I didn't want to get excited for nothing.
