Tom Clancy's The Division - SHOOT THE LEPPERS (PC, PS4, XB1) - Games

From what I've seen, I remain very hyped. I'm preordering for fucking sure.

It still bugs me how pretty the UI was early on compared to now

It's still okay I think, I'm just annoyed at the lack of crouching or flashlights

I just want the PC version to work and work well.

They are often edited to give the impression that there is more on offer than there actually is.

Several trailers and other promotional material has shown multiple different interior areas. That's not something that can be edited in.

oh sweet, so our calls to get the divsion on PC turned out to be a hit? thank god i'm probably late to the game on that one because i don't follow this game at all but i def recall there being a huge shitstorm because ubi didn't want to make it for computer. we're pretty much for the most part past the day and age of console exclusivity so it was really petty

How much effort they actually put into it remains to be seen, though. It has a release date along side consoles so hopefully they didn't half ass it

The system with the "safehouses" where you connect to other players and probably do trading and find people to group up with sounds really cool and interesting.

Can't wait for this, it's been leaked on Reddit (through a uPlay caption) that the beta will be starting in January. A lot of youtubers and streamers have been invited to the studio tomorrow, so we should be getting loads more info in the next few days. Relevant videos will be posted in the thread and edited into the OP

Anyone else's going to get this game for Xbox? I'm thinking of getting it on the console if I manage to find a group to roll with.

Wasn't that even the case with the alpha?

Ubisoft tends to extend their betas lately so yeah.

Actually now when I think about, it's actually a smart move for server stress testing. Tell everyone it's gonna be on for only a few days so everyone flocks to it all at once so they get a bunch of users at once and test their servers and then what's over they can just extend it for another week or whatever.

I wonder if it's actually possible to get a beta code without having bought the humble bundle thing or preordering the game.

After watching the gameplay, it reminds me quite a lot of Destiny (with a cooler theme and more seamless). I like it.
