If anyone wants to get into the beta, preorder the game on Amazon, wait for them to email you a beta code, then cancel your preorder.
I may actually have some Beta Codes to give away next week, not sure how many i'll have left. If any one has a good way of raffling them off, i'm all ears.
If anyone wants to get into the beta, preorder the game on Amazon, wait for them to email you a beta code, then cancel your preorder.
The game seems to not be available for me on pc.
iirc alpha testing has been going on since around thanksgiving, someone might have left a server up. it's also entirely possible this is the devs leaking footage under the guise of player leaked footage.
The alpha was Xbox One only though, they wouldn't have servers for PC left from that.
Really hoping the PC version of the game is going to look better than the gameplay videos that have been released. Also as far as the beta key raffle, could just have everyone rate/post that they want in, and use some kinda random pick-from-list thing online.

The first E3 demo looks absolutely incredible, meanwhile the newer stuff looks [del]like garbage[/del] Fairly downgraded. Hopefully the gameplay will make up for it, but I'm not buying this one 'till I see some more PC gameplay/get into the beta somehow.

It might not look as nice as the first trailer did, but it still looks pretty damn amazing.

Could just be youtube compression but yeah :v: The lighting and geometry looks pretty solid overall though.

Actually just found another video that shows off face selection, yeah, they look better so chalk another one up to YT compression. But yeah, the downgrade is pretty noticeable (and disappointing) Though still have to wait for High-spec PC gameplay to really judge it.
I do really wish there wasn't this BS mmo-style damage :/ I really like Rainbow Six: Siege's gunplay so this with that would be brilliant.
Maybe if there was a Realistic difficulty for things that made both players and enemies die real fast, but I imagine even then certain 'heavy' / later enemies would take an unfair amount of damage with the way the system is right now. It just looks dull when you either headshot them rapidly, or shoot them over and over until they keel over with the occasional flinch along the way.
Does anyone know if you'll get a beta copy through the greenman pre-orders?
snip it got removed
REMINDER
Beta codes are available on g2a: 0.77$$ /key if you ignore the g2a shield
(reposted from the embargo thread) Also, an interesting analysis you should check out: Ultra late find: a 60min gameplay video: (the video description has the same video, but without commentary, if you don't like the voice)
I was hoping that base would be something similiar to a clan hq but oh well.. It's better than having no hq at all.
REMINDER
Beta codes are available on g2a: 0.77$$ /key if you ignore the g2a shield

Tried getting one, every time I try it never goes through even though paypal says the transaction was approved. COme to think of it I've NEVER been able to get anything off G2A.
don't pay for beta keys. these people use bots and other shady practices to get keys that would otherwise be available free from giveaways, deals etc. don't support the practice and for fucks sake show a little self control
Not to mention you're literally paying for a demo.
For me it was a nice addition to the Humble Bundle. While I owned every Splinter Cell in that bundle, I didn't own any other game on that list on PC and I really wanted to play Vegas again, not to mention Rainbow Six 3. All for 10 dollaroos.
@krail9 Don't care about your "pay2play demo" logic; Pay 9$ on humblebundle for a couple of (useless) games and Division beta access. or Pay 2$ on g2a for the Division beta acess code, protected by the g2a shield. I bought it to test the game, performance/graphics wise...
Not to mention you're literally paying for a demo.
Tbh I'd rather pay 50 cents for a demo to find out if I like the way the game plays or not rather than 60$ Hopefully though I get beta access through the thing on the divisions website (managed to get into r6 sieges that way)

Not sure what this has to do with self control.
Not to mention you're literally paying for a demo.
Years back I paid $7 for some playstation magazine for the Star Wars Battlefront demo. No regrets.
0.77$ really isn't that bad for beta acces... There's all kinds of shady shit they do and it's really something I'd rather see dead.
everyone has this belief that these sellers are people that raid the back of semi trucks and steal hundreds of boxed games and sell the cd keys and that's just not how it works i mean don't get me wrong, there's some illegitimate sellers but most of them are relatively clean. you can also pick and choose who you want to buy from so if anyone is to blame it's the ill-informed consumer [editline]18th January 2016[/editline]
Years back I paid $7 for some playstation magazine for the Star Wars Battlefront demo. No regrets.
pc gamer magazines were the best in the early 2000s because not everyone had cable internet and the ability to download 100 megabyte demos. i was on dial-up until like 2003 because you couldn't get cable or dsl where i live
Or you know, maybe developers should let everyone that's excited for the game play?
I mean, yeah of course if it's logistically possible. It might be or it might not for The Division, I don't know. But that has nothing to do with what I said, some sites sell beta keys and shit and delve into some shady, not to mention ultimately anti-consumer, practices to get a lot of beta keys.
Its ubisoft. There is literally no reason for any kind of size limit. Im still kind of pissed the "beta" is only 3 days
Its ubisoft. There is literally no reason for any kind of size limit. Im still kind of pissed the "beta" is only 3 days
It'll most likely get extended.
